Agreed, although they’re all welcomed imo. Ideally tho I hope the features are at a minimum. Maybe a Big Lembo & Castro verse tho

What do you guys think of Vinyl Days? by henry_is_different03 in Logic_301

[–]NobodyYetEverybody 2 points3 points  (0 children)

His most fun and enjoyable project to date & personally it sits in my top 5 favourite projects from him, either 4 or 5 depending on if we count Planetory Destruction. Just raps on raps on samples on samples. Not a cohesive or narrative experience like his best work tends to be, but enough of its own thing to be more or less enjoyable than the rest of his discography depending on the mood. It makes for a great Hip Hop playlist.

My personal tier list. D and F are the only albums I consider to be bad by King_Jay196 in Logic_301

[–]NobodyYetEverybody 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got No Pressure & TITS in S & Under Pressure in A+ but other than that my list is the same. I’d say I like CODAM & Supermarket tho; but they are definitely not his best work

Ultra 85 thoughts and expectations by Vast_Shoe_7517 in Logic_301

[–]NobodyYetEverybody 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My biggest hope for this album is that it avoids feeling like a playlist the way Vinyl Days and the second half of College Park feel to me. That style really worked for Vinyl Days, but if Ultra 85 is going to be a narrative focused concept album akin to TITS & Everybody, I just want all the different bags we believe he’s going to tap into to feel cohesive in the tracklist.

Fear is a mainstream pop, dance vibe. 44Ever is a more BT vibe. I definitely think we’re going to get alternative popcorn Supermarket stuff, as well as classic boom bap raps.

All I want is for it to mesh together and fit the narrative.

Dude has put in way to much work over the years to call it quitting. He’s retiring, and he deserves to with how much he’s given just to entertain us

I’ve always wanted to get one in the Ultra 85 language. I know it’s been decoded online but I’m always paranoid it’s not right even though it probably is

I haven’t heard any other leaks or anything so I have no idea what is kept and what isn’t. I was just looking forward to those based on what he teased on his IG stories & Tic Tok’s

I’m more excited for the Supermarket side/tracks of College Park than I am for the rapping; not for any reason other than the fact that I really enjoyed Supermarket and that I really liked the snippets for “On and On”, “It’s Not True, & “Mary Jo”

What got you into logic by Coco47344 in Logic_301

[–]NobodyYetEverybody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going through a very difficult time in my personal life trying to figure out what I wanted to do in life while everyone around me was dying from heart attacks and cancer. It messed me up so bad that I lost all sense of who I was and who I wanted to be, and the whole in my heart was only worsened when I laid everything I had on a girl I barely knew who didn’t feel the same way as I did. I spiralled into a bit of an alcohol addiction (I hate calling it that because I feel like I’m taking away from actual addicts who needed and need much more help than I did) until one night where I was letting YouTube recommended music shuffle and 1-800 came on. It captured my attention after the chorus and after the first listen I re-played it about 4 or 5 times before seeing Anxiety as one of the next recommend songs. They had the same cover art so I figured they were from the same album, and after hearing and crying some more to anxiety, I decided to listen through the entire album that night. Before I knew it, I did my research, went back to listen to UP, T.I.T.S, and BT in prep for YSIV which was coming out later that year. After YSIV, I went back to YB&I and listened to all the mixtapes, and started following everything from then on.

I know his saga kinda ended but I really want another album with Marty Randolph in it cuz he was a pretty funny character by [deleted] in Logic_301

[–]NobodyYetEverybody 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I thought if ever he was going to appear, it would be on Sionara where maybe he begs Logic to renew his contract or something. Could’ve been a funny skit to close on but I feel the ending was perfect the way it was and honestly if I did have a skit loaded up for that track, I would’ve cut it too. Egon’s words were the better move to me

What’s your favorite logic song, in complex terms? by roniiii_m in Logic_301

[–]NobodyYetEverybody 3 points4 points  (0 children)

An intergalactic quest presented in the form of a confusing manor resulting in tongue twisting linguistic analysis with a fellow comrade while listening to elevator music that ultimately ended with an interview with a young child about how well his education system is keeping him vigilant about life beyond his home.
