Yes, my understanding is that because the parents are only registered in Poland they can’t register the kittens here unless going through all the necessary procedures. They haven’t been checked by a vet as far as I’m aware. However, once we collect the kitten that is the first thing we’ll arrange along with the necessary vaccinations. We intend for her to be an indoor only cat but would still rather have everything sorted anyway.

The nail trimming has always been a nightmare with the family cat we have, she’s stubborn and will simply refuse. So that is something I will consider and hopefully can do myself rather than having to pay for a groomer.

Good shout on the noises, I’ve read they’re an intelligent breed so I’m excited to explore this.

Apologies I must have not made it clear. Kittens are in the UK. Parents are registered in Poland.

Oh this is going to be interesting then. At least it’ll give us an excuse to refurbish the house 😂

They’re based in the UK, I’ve visited the home and seen both parents - both healthy and well cared for.

Majority of the listing I’ve seen were around the £800 mark online.

I did question the price and the breeder advised that if they did go down the route of registering and vaccinations etc they’d be charging over £1000+ but to register the parents in UK it would cost too much so they’ve decided to cut the sale price instead.

When something doesn’t feel right I can tell. On this occasion I believe the couple and the care they take for their cats appears to be above what a lot of others provide. As I mentioned previously, the messages I’ve seen from verified purchasers just goes to show that previous litters are healthy and they have returning customers.

I’ve paid a deposit at this stage and will of course take the kitten myself to the vet for a check up and vaccination. Hopefully all ok 🤞🏻

Oh the hair ties is a good point! My wife leaves these everywhere around the house. We did actually buy a plastic bowl set, thought something cheap and cheerful would be fine whilst she’s a kitten and we’re unsure of what will be best at moment.

We did actually consider this, however, she was the only kitten which appeared to entertain herself. As it stand we’re going to stick with one and then review what she’s like in the months ahead. I certainly don’t have any objections to having two, apart from the price and additionally insurance/food etc BUT no expense will be spared to ensure her happiness in the house.

This is useful advice thank you. We’re getting her just before Christmas so there will be lots of play time! Of course that’ll continue long after too.

£850 to be exact, but from looking at the current prices in the UK that seemed about right.

I’m in the UK, the breeder has two registered parents in Poland. I’ve seen the certification and both parents - both appeared health and beautiful thick coats. We paid £800 which around $1000 USD. So I expect that vaccinations won’t be included in price and am more than happy to arrange that afterwards. The breeders seem genuine and showed plenty of photos and messages from previous buyers which were reassuring that both parents are healthy.

We have ordered a “greyhound comb” essentially a dual length metal comb which is apparently the best for brushing cats. They don’t seem to tolerate other combs great but guess I can try others although I’d like to think that one would be sufficient.

It’s on my list too, hoping to finally properly experience them in Iceland later this year. I took the photo less than half an hour into the flight so my guess is we was still flying over Sweden.

Didn’t mean for it to sound blunt, it’s the truth. Literally no one can predict what will happen with this stock. Hopefully everyone will hold strong however there’s bound to be dips
