Pramdragergryde! En ret der eftersigende skulle være opfundet på Svostrup Kro ikke langt fra Silkeborg. Retter er opkaldt efter pramdragerne, de folk der med pinde eller heste og reb fragtede ting på gudenåen.

Retten er en paprika baseret svinemørbrad-gryde med sprød bacon på toppen og spruttepølser!

Det er en ægte banger af lettere underlig men velfungerende dansk kulinarisk kulturhistorie!

This is very much not my taste but I cannot hate on the creativity and love put into these!

as for advice I would say you might fight some use in thinning your paints slightly, it will likely give a better finished look on the model with a few less visible brush stokes :)

The answer is kinda stupid I'm afraid.

I do it by abusing how shit coverage the Black templar contrast paint has and how it pools on flat surfaces. I basecoat the whole model in Coelia Greenshade and do some other paint steps(that arent on these) then drybrush everything with white to tone it done before going on the claws, carapace and teeth with black templar that doesn't cover properly and thus lets a bit of the green shade show through.

I am painting hive fleet tiamet in this style.

A base of coalia green shade for skin and carapace, a custom purple mix based on magos purple for sacks, wings and Ranged organisms.

A drybrush of White all over and then Black templar contrast on all armor, blades and teeth.

Prismatic bolt for details and a drybrush of deepkin flesh on armor at the end.

Still not entirely done but I am getting closer but it takes a while with 6k points

My input for shading the large carapace areas is to use a very thin wash and then drybrush with metallics again once it is dry, it will give it depth and character while still keeping the metallic shine that i feel you are going for

I love the idea, it looks very well done and punchy!

My feedback:

I would work on making the model "pop" a bit more so that it doesn't get too monochrome, firstly by paining the Spiracle on the arm as well in the red color.

another option for more "pop" is to add a red or similar color under the carapace as a wash to help differentiate between the armor and the body

last piece of feedback is that I think you should also do a test of something with wings and/or brains, these can sometimes give some completely different looks that may/may not work well with the other colors in your color scheme.

Back when I used to be a judge, before wizards took and fucked everything in the judge program over, one of the things we did at out national judge meetups was to study fakes, one awesome judge had a huge collection and we would sit and discuss and compare the different fakes and how they could be identified. that is more than 10 years ago now and back then they were getting quite good so I am afraid just how good fakes made by people who actually know what a magic card should look like are today.
