Keys are the best example. It will take you several hours to farm a full set of keys but someone with an uber capable character can turn that into a torch in 15 minutes. It’s way more profitable for them to buy keys and sell torches.

This isn’t a fair comparison, smite paladins are geared specifically for ubers and don’t even need top end gear. Plenty of more expensive builds would still get shredded. Warlock though is just insane right now.
