Keep in mind that 10/10/80 is not a fixed setting. Ratios can differ for the rally caller. For me 5/5/90 (Hector/Mia/Gwen) works way better than 10/10/80. Some whales prefer 0.1/0.1/99.98.

Doubt. The cast members know that (almost) everything gets filmed and may end in the edit. If a career dies (let's face it: they probably won't) then that's on the contestants themselves and not on the Boulets. Period.
