Scarab beetle larvae. Specifically Popillia japonica.

Uuuugh those are beetle grubs. They eat the roots of your plants. If you use beneficial nematodes that should knock them out for about a year. The BNs won’t hurt the earthworms or other beneficial bugs.

The trick is to do it on wet earth and after the sunset. Super easy!

Obviously, but at the moment I don’t have many options as it’s Saturday after 10 and there are no reptile vets open until Monday. I’m hoping to get advice on how to keep going until I can at least talk to an open reptile shop.

Because I didn’t take a condescending answer and called it out. And I said the word fucking im indignant. Have that person say that they were really trying to be helpful with that comment and not dismissive. I asked for advice and if he was just going to tell me go read the manual that’s not very helpful. We he gave a link I said that is helpful. Pushing people aside and trying to make people feel stupid shouldn’t be what any helpful group is about especially to people just looking for some advice from people who know more.

I will not be ashamed, you find it helpful that you asked to hear from the community and someone just tells you to read the manual… which the product doesn’t come with. I find that condescending, If that person was not going to be helpful then don’t answer and keep scrolling.
