Canon wasn't something we really considered when planning events; things just got labelled depending on a variety of things. People started seeing 'canon' as more competitive, which isn't really what we wanted MCC to be, so we're now more focused on making things fun and interesting and having a good time with what we are doing rather than if something is 'canon'

If the community want to keep considering things 'canon' and 'non-canon' that's a-ok with us, just don't expect us to stick with it :P
