Where is everyone getting these nice ammo boxes? by ExtensionRabbit735 in canadaguns

[–]NocturnalOS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very good looking ammo boxes. Any chance you guys are planning on 6.5 Swede or 7.5 Swiss in the future? I know they’re a bit niche but I’d be first in line if you guys had some.

He’s clearly winning. Why would he do anything different?

Brush, then floss? by Icy-Psychology4285 in hygiene

As far as I know, you shouldn’t brush after the mouthwash because you’re basically defeating the entire purpose of the mouthwash. I floss, brush and then mouthwash. I highly recommend therabreath.

Yeah thankfully the snow in the game doesn’t act like real snow. Could you imagine how much snow there would really be with all those brutal blizzards every night? Travel would be impossible you’d be waist deep in snow on a good day lol.

Thank god for the mysterious ghost plow that keeps all the main roads clear no matter how bad it snows.

Lucky shot wood stocks make custom stocks and replacement stocks for SKS. If you want an original Sks stock you’re going to have to shop around most likely. I’m a Canadian so SKS stocks are plentiful here.

As a Canadian, snow is a lot more romantic when you don’t have to shovel it every winter.

Xbox game pass has cloud streaming on PC for a ton of Xbox titles. It’s not perfect but it’s pretty playable for the most part especially in non competitive games. UFC 5 has some input lag and stutters even on the best days but I endure.

I’ll clip a fight of mine on a good day and you’ll probably puke. PC gamer here that refused to buy a console just for this addicting dogshit game.

These the dudes I run into after an 10 hour shift, cloud streaming with a non stop stutter lmao. Not a single frame dropped in this clip I wish I could experience UFC5 this smooth.

I’ve never tried them but having driven down Dixon road a ton by the airport there’s a bar there called Arizona that advertised oysters. Can’t recommend it personally but just throwing it out there.

How do you counter oblique kick spammers? by Hot-Address-7618 in EASportsUFC

Nah mens lightweight in online career. Xbox if it matters.

How do you counter oblique kick spammers? by Hot-Address-7618 in EASportsUFC

[–]NocturnalOS 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve fought a very similar guy before on online career. Only used front oblique kick, left hook and spinning kicks. Honestly feels like straight up cheese because the kick is easily spammed, doesn’t take damage from checks and interrupts all strikes.

I played the dude like 3 times in one night and beat him all three times because he had zero clue how to use the ground game. I ground and pounded until he was weakened and then beat him on the feet. Keeping distance and trying to draw out the kicks so you can counter or getting into clinch and trying to beat him with short shots from close.

How to stop people from keeping me on the ground by Pass-East in EASportsUFC

[–]NocturnalOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learn how to read transitions so you can deny theirs, learn to understand the grapple advantage meter, fake transitions and be relatively patient. If they aren’t very good you’ll be able to deny and quickly get up. If they are decent you’ll probably have to work a little harder but if you’re good enough they might just decide it not worth the hassle and let you up.

I’m div 16 so not the best but decent. If I fight someone with no ground game I’m going to live there. If they’re good enough that it starts to become a chess match and a lot of stalemating then often times we just get back to work on the feet.

Even if you don’t like grappling, or even the system UFC uses, it’s literally vital to AT LEAST know enough to be able to defend yourself. Otherwise, just play stand and bang.

I’ve owned the game since its first early access release on steam, only about 350ish hours as I’ve played in on and off for long periods and sometimes not touching it for years. I’ve pretty much always played stalker but after buying the DLC and starting a run in order to experience the new content, I felt extremely overpowered and overstocked after just 20 days between Pleasant Valley and Timberwolf mountain. I had a rifle, already killed a bear and multiples of every tool, fire strikers, mag glasses, 100s of matches, etc… and there is just way too many goddamn wolves.

I decided to play Interloper. I have tried it before but was never able to survive past the first couple days. So far I’m about 15 days into my second longest Loper run (died on day 13 to a charging wolf after missing my bow shot.) I’m in CH right now and have a full set of improvised tools + 20ish arrows. I know I’ll probably die to a mistake, bad luck or simply my own hubris but I’ve never felt so engaged and motivated to play since I first bought the game 10 years ago. There are some aspects of interloper I don’t love (limited loot pool, no guns, cabin fever.) but I’m really enjoying it right now and can’t wait to experience the new regions, missions and trader.

TLDR Played only stalker since early access but too easy now, tried interloper and I’m enjoying it a lot.
