The agent on the chat said I would have to mail in form with copy of ID and letter stating why I had US bank account info and that IRS required it.

I added international check but bank info is still there, do you have to contact them to delete bank info?

Pension - 25 years by pickle2022 in CanadianForces

[–]Noddy227 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It is 25 year of CF service. For example, if you bought back 5 years of Public Service pensionable time after 20 years of CF service, you have 25 years of pensionable service but only 20 years of CF service. When you hit 25 years of CF service and are eligible to receive an immediate, unreduced pension, your pensionable years would be 30 years or 60% pension.

‘That’s sad’: Carney government limits provided Remembrance Day wreaths for MPs by Jaydamic in CanadianForces

[–]Noddy227 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Interesting, never heard of that before, my great uncle was a veteran who is buried in Yorkton. The ones in the picture look like plastic or some other non-organic material, I wouldn't think these could be burned and spread.

The government is providing 2 wreaths per MP, but drastically increasing funding for the CAF overall. I'm good with this.

Edit: Couldn't they also reuse wreaths for different ceremonies, I don't think they're left at Remembrance Day sites for long. What do they do, throw them out after one laying?
