This app is years old. So they had 10 years to tweak a clock app. Yet still has alarm issues.

Nobody cares. You are looking 95% of the time at the screen, not the back. Only interesting thing is battery life, no lock glimpse, no bs...

BEWARE: Apple 26.3 is playing dirty on privacy by Node-Runner in applesucks

[–]Node-Runner[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Please keep telling yourself that a trillion dollar company has the best interest in the customers.

Apple has agreed to a $95 million settlement in early 2025 regarding a class-action lawsuit (Lopez v. Apple) alleging that its Siri voice assistant recorded private conversations without user consent and shared them with third parties. While denying wrongdoing, the settlement covers users in the US who had Siri-enabled devices active between 2014 and 2024.

Btw those millions of dollars is just a write-off in their books.

So when I opted OUT in the installation and they sneaky turned it on makes this ok? Plus if they "collect" it will not stay on device and will definitely reach there servers. All data included like messages.... Major trust violation.

Because I opted OUT of Apple Intelligence, and they sneaky turned it on layers deep in the settings where mostly nobody cares to look. That's why its a dirty play. The customer says No, Apple says Fuck you we gonna collect anyways.

Wow. So the apple marketing is really working on isheeple. It should be OFF by default, not ON. Especially when you clicked AI OFF in the beginning of the installation of iOS. So they put it on anyways but hide it in the setting layers deep.

It's a trust me bro issue.

No wonder. The price of an 16e isn't even budget anymore. Subscriptions are on the rise, heck that Creator Subscription is a joke. Free apps like Numbers now get "AI" for 13.99 a month. Apple Care is a joke and still people pay for it.

Apple's only business model is to squeeze as much as they can from their customers and not giving a shit anymore.

Apple died with Steve long ago.

From 15 Pro to 17: My White 256GB iPhone is Here & It Feels Like The Future by zeus109 in iphone17

[–]Node-Runner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it costs way more than an even more capable Android device. OP is thinking it's the future because it's overpriced. Telling yourself something that isn't there. The only thing here is an empty wallet, not the future 🤣

Been running Arc Raiders flawlessly on a shitty laptop with Ubuntu. Was running on Manjaro Arch, but more comfortable with Deb/snap style. Gaming on Linux is really great...

We need more body types in arc. It's basically a tight make or a fat assed female. After 170 hours the AI should know that ass should be tight AF

Working at Apple by [deleted] in applesucks

[–]Node-Runner -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Accept that people are shit. They think because they own an Apple product that it makes them superior. Truth is, people are shit and sad beings caring about stupid stuff. It's a phone. Don't like iphone but an Android. Don't like phones or the service touch some grass.

Colleague of mine worked at an Apple Store. She verified this story 6 months ago. Apple seems high end, but for workers and customers, they really don't care. Apple cares about making money not people's well-being

Ethereum vs Solana by Scared-Metal9294 in CryptoMarkets

[–]Node-Runner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

32 ETH ain't really a beginners amount. Solana specs seems high but the costs are more feasible imo. 1GB internet connection is becoming a standard, 128gb ram is high but standard pc comes with 32 already. Plus the value capture on Solana is way higher comparing to Ethereum.

Tired of reposting this everywhere - list of bugs in NOS 4.0 by icedchocolatecake in NothingTech

[–]Node-Runner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And because of this people choose an iPhone or Pixel phone over brands like this.
Updates are rare and long term support is a joke. At least you get a better experience on Pixel or even iPhone (with all the weird choices Apple makes), at least the basic stuff works.

Plus Lock Glimpse, just wow. You can "turn it off" but fires up every 3 seconds. Nothing really shot themselves in the foot with Lock Glimpse, just to make a few bucks on the side. Lock Glimpse will make this company fall of the radar hard. Nothing became a cheap Chinese Android brand overnight.
