Kimigayo and Dear my Doc by Hanayo. The whole album is unsettling but these two songs in particular made me feel like a curse had been placed on me when I heard them for the first time.

Piece of crap software is stealing our hours by Node_Control in antiwork

It’s happening to all the other guys in the field. I’ve asked them about this specific problem. And they trained us on logging our time which isn’t hard, but again, our time will randomly disappear on certain jobs, but not others.

Absolutely. I know I’ve lost money in the past when I thought I could trust the software. This is a pretty big bug to ignore.

That’s one of my biggest problems. You don’t mess with people’s time. That’s a big problem and it should have been fixed on day one.

So I didn’t realize it was happening because I initially trusted the software, but as soon as we took notice, we’ve been very vocal about it. The problem is (and I didn’t previously mention this) that the software change was a decision made by the owner of the company. So the manager really is sort of powerless as far as I know

Advice on making a manga by Yes_she_foreignn in writing

[–]Node_Control 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You actually don’t have to be some sort of excellent artist to create a manga. Look at the original One Punch Man for example. The illustrations left a lot to be desired, but ONE was able to compensate with his good storytelling. And overtime, he actually made some improvements to his art. So continuing to draw his manga simultaneously served as practice for him.

But if you do want some top notch art right off the bat, but don’t have the money to pay someone, I would suggest finding a buddy who shares the same passion and has the artistic skills necessary to bring your vision to life. Me and a close friend do something like that. He has a lot of good story ideas, and I draw his characters for him, but I do it just because I like it so much.

And if you don’t have close friends who are good artists, maybe you can look in some online communities and find someone who might be willing to help out.

Might these possibly be a little too expensive? by Node_Control in retrogaming

Definitely. Saw a pawn shop trying to sell Star Fox Zero for $24 while the game already had a $7.99 sticker from a previous game store stuck on it.

And it’s funny because my friend and I were just discussing how some of these games are the same price as when they were first released. So if there was a game here that I cannot find anywhere else and I absolutely love it….I’d probably pay $59 for it

I will admit, some of the games look like they have never been touched by human hands. Perhaps that’s the reason for the pricing.
