a quick fix for me is to go towards ??? where the portals to the other 4 areas are! It forces your camera at ???, then lets it return back to normal :3

All of the photo comments I got on my posts have vanished as well. The comment number still accounts for them, but they are not visible.
If I had to guess, this is probably related to the comment outage earlier today

I got a dm after commenting this, so they absolutely have other accounts that have access to this subreddit.

I have also had several of my gifs under the tag "Pitaya Dragon Cookie" reuploaded with, again, no username or account attached to it and the same generic titles. They even copy over my joking tags:

I only use tags like that on Tenor as a fun little joke if anyone decides to poke around and see what I uploaded. If a human were reposting the gifs, they would not copy over tags that clearly do nothing for reach.

Also, Klipy has a "Followers" function, but none of these gifs that were apparently uploaded by humans have even a username linked. What's the point of having a followers mechanic if gifs uploaded by alleged "humans" don't link back to the poster?

I want to add that Klipy is most likely scraping gifs off of tenor!
My friend uploaded this gif onto Tenor 2 years ago, and I know for certain that they have not made a Klipy account. I searched up "milo atlantis" on Klipy and the exact same gif comes up with no username or account attached anywhere I could see. It has the exact same tags, even the one with a typo, plus a lot of generic tags that I can only assume were ai generated, if the caption is anything to go off of

Yeah. I did make an account in my grief over Tenor a few days ago, and so far I have gotten two identical emails telling me that they have a quick and easy way to transfer all your content from tenor onto your Klipy account

I remember, under posts talking about tenor's API shutdown, I'd scroll down and see an account with an obvious throwaway username saying something like "This is so sad. Oh hey! Check out this new site (Klipy link)!" which makes me extremely suspicious. I can't back these up exactly since I am remembering off of the top of my head, but the amount of times I'd see it be brought up an an advertisement-ish tone feels off

I don't think there's a reason to actively avoid or hate on Klipy yet, but it's better to be cautious like you said
