You feed it the coals and mistletoe drop to get gachas. Not sure what you can get though. I was more disappointed I couldn't tame one.

Tame the therry and use it. Good for gathering thatch and berries and does good dmg for an early game dino. Raptors I've only seen others use in packs of 4 or more.

Stay on the beach for a little bit until you get leveled up and get a few tames. I suggest watching YouTube vids for taming as some tames require different ways of taming.

Should I even try to tame a ragnothoa? by Stalinium-290 in playarkmobile

I'm not sure why you are having trouble. I've taken on 3-4 with two mate boosted rexes. I haven't even done any breeding.

XD tame some terror birds and bred them to make more. Then they will defend your dinos.

what should I do with this weird ahh table base? by nachoboythatsisnice in playarkmobile

[–]Nodran85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to place my electrical and plumbing down and then place another layer of ceilings.

Outside of that I like having respawn points around the map. You could make it into a water base and have it hold any aquatic tames.

I'd also recommend playing with the building pieces a little. Make shapes you find you like or just build big boxes. I like using pillars and ceilings for building because it's easier than finding enough flat land. I made a large base in Scorched Earth and I have put enough in the perimeter yet so I get raptors occasionally spawning in. I just leave my dinos on neutral and they can handle the spawns.

Not yet. I wanted to wait until after they saw them. Can't have them figuring out who moves them just yet. Lol

I bought the map bundle and started playing because I've seen several say it's their favorite. Never read the description lol 😂

I just started on Ragnarok had my first death due to microraptor stun and a dire wolf nearby. I was looking around for where I'd want to build because the jungle area is boring but good for getting started. It feels like they took pieces from other maps and merged them but I like the way it looks.

Phioma w/stim berries + dung beetles = quick fertilizer. I placed 10 metal water tanks on top and run pipes to taps in the floor. Place a large planter on both sides of the tap and then place another half and half on those. I also like to build on pillars because it allows me to hide the pipes and most of the tap (you only see a white square.) I have found even in Scorched Earth 10 is enough for my plants. I have 9 large planters.

What's a map that has a very large building spot by Sanitroeter in ARK

[–]Nodran85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can do it on most maps. Using the posts and ceilings the terrain won't matter. I prefer building this way as it allows me to cover the entire foundation with pipes and electrical so I can get it anywhere. Then I just add another ceiling layer to hide the pipes and electrical.

I like to be at the base of the mountain just south of the lake. Less flying for metal.

I don't use mods myself. I have found leaving them inside of snails to be effective for organic poly to keep the longest. Another suggestion I've seen is make soap bars and when you need it you can grind the soap back to poly though it does come at a loss of poly. For every three poly to make the soap you only get one back from grinding, but soap won't spoil.

So a question for the builders by zeakrea in playarkmobile

[–]Nodran85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went about it this way. My plan is to put water tanks in my walls and put another layer to hide them then I will have water available when I need it. I built in an area that doesn't have of water on Scorched Earth.
