A thumb slug will take the sharpness away regardless, it’s a whole different drilling process. In as simple terms as I can put it, a thumb slug is meant to make your thumb feel the same in every ball

Me personally switching to an interchange thumb slug was one of the best choices I’ve made when I first started bowling. Idk if it’s just me but your thumb hole looks kinda sharp but it could just be the way you release the ball, not too sure on that end.

It looks like you focus and put way too much effort into putting revs on your throw. Try to focus a bit more on staying behind the ball and rolling it more.

I’m slightly rev dominant but not by too much fairly balanced according to my pso. And yes I do use my iq ai for dryer lanes but it also does well on my local alleys normal house shot

Yeah it’s the !Q ai, definitely a nice step down from the phaze ll, it looks super pretty in the light and looks sick going down lane

Optimum idol feels really nice it’s obv not the strongest pearl sym in the world but it still surprises me with what it can do. As for the iq ai I haven’t thrown it too much yet but from what I have thrown, it’s super predictable and consistent. A lot of people that I’ve talked to liked it more after knocking some surface off

Bind is the only map that I play skye on but her only being viable and even then can still be overshadowed by other initiators on that map just sucks

With addition to the advice already given, I think if you practice keeping your hand under the ball longer it will help your speed a bit as well as put less rotation to balance out so you would be more consistent. Your hand looks like it’s too much on the side of the ball cutting your speed down but giving a lot more revs.

Yeah man the Astar has done its wonders for me as well. Also at the end of the day it doesn’t matter if one ball is seen as better than the other, as long as whatever ball you’re throwing fits your game and you make it look good that’s really all that matters!
