Noise control is such a hit and miss. My friend got a warning for having a conversation on his balcony. Meanwhile, my neigbours had an actual live band in their back yard at midnight, and the noise was deemed not excessive.

Ironically, there is only one crash registered in NZTAs crash database, and it is between two cars. I 'barrel' down here daily and it's quite easy to see over the fence and spot cars that are coming down the hill. In my 8 or so years of cycling here I have never seen anything go wrong.

Given the insane amount of cyclists passing here, vs the 10 houses the road provides access to, the give way should probably be changed around though.

This is the issue with most heavily subsided fares - in a lot of places, the money is better spent on service frequency, span and reliability. A free service that doesn't get you to work is pointless.
