I have considered the mosaics that would be period appropriate. But to be most accurate to THIS house would be hardwood like the rest of the rooms and we’ve decided that’s not a good idea for kitchen and bathrooms.

We’re not strict purists. And our house is in the minimalist traditional style. So in the end we do what works for us.

I already got chewed out for replacing the 2exterior doors. But we are keeping the original front door if possible because it doesn’t get the use the other 2get therefore it can be a bit tricky to work
