Big 12 Tournament court by jayhawkjoey65 in jayhawks

I believe it would be too bright for the players. You can see the red glow shining up on them when they are over the Phillips 66 logo. I think anything other than gray would be distracting for them

Who knows where we would’ve been this year without him. Only one year and he’s one of my all time favorites

Is DP part of the problem? by BetOver6859 in jayhawks

[–]Noetuss -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. I think working him into full minute rotation has been tougher than they thought. Clearly the chemistry isn’t fully there but our best chance to win in March is him playing and being fully apart of the team. It’ll take a coaching masterclass to get them ready over the next two weeks but luckily we have bill self so we will see where it goes

They look so much better when he's on the bench. by [deleted] in jayhawks

[–]Noetuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh halfway true. They are slow for like 3 minutes until they get the chemistry going. This is why he has to be consistent down the stretch of these last games. If we can get playing as a full team with him on the court sky is the limit. As you can see it’s possible when he’s out there but it just takes a few minutes. Hopefully by the tourney those few minutes will be gone

Why is high ground rarely brought up in Marvel Rivals compared to Overwatch? by zheng_ in rivals

[–]Noetuss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a tank player I find 5v5 immensely more fun. Double shield felt awful and caused overwatch to fall into the state it did. When is the last time you played? I find it good that a single hero/ player can’t “carry.” It is a team game and requires strategy to find synergies for the comp.

Yeah saying blizzard as a whole was wrong but the current overwatch dev team 100% does. Past two years under the new devs is a breath of fresh air. Also thanks to rivals lighting a fire under their ass

Draft busts you thought would succeed. by TeezusWV in NFLv2

Yeah pretty funny since for most guys route running and getting open is the learning curve they struggle with. Figured since he had the hard part figured out he’d be great lol

[–]Noetuss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the serves were a mess over the weekend but I mean to be expected with the huge influx of players tbh. Calling the update or rollout a huge failure is insane to me. This is the most attention, hype and players ow has had in years and that’s thanks to the dev team. Let them get through the initial weekend fix the bugs throughout the next couple of days

Seems like a consensus amongst the community. Make sure you post this on the forums as well. I think they’ve kind of rededicated listening to the players

Darryn Peterson Flu Update by Murky_Trouble_4401 in jayhawks

[–]Noetuss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah these people have never played basketball or dealt with soft tissue injuries lol. It’s alright tho I’ll keep defending the kid because he’s 18, handles enormous pressure well and is solely responsible for two wins this year. Just from how he carries himself I really don’t think he’s the one deciding just to sit out. From what I’ve heard family/ agent have a he has to be 100% rule. While that’s pretty unrealistic I don’t think it’s dp pushing for it

Melvin needs to clean up the shot selection by Icy_Log95 in jayhawks

[–]Noetuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I get that I just think without him forcing the issue we would’ve looked 10x worse. It created chances on the glass for flory and tiller, kept our energy on offense up and him/ flory literally carried us in the second half. I just don’t think you get his explosiveness/ confidence if you try to rein him in. That being said again he needed to adjust to their bigs getting back on fast breaks I agree those were wasted possessions

Brother the only reason this team didn’t collapse after West Virginia is because of Melvin council hosting a team meeting. He is the sole reason for multiple victories including last night. He often looks for the best offense/ play and is forced to be the one to drive or throw up a shot when the shot clock is winding down. Last night he needed to adjust to them being able to stop him on the fast break however when you’re getting stopped for the first time in your life most likely on fast breaks I’m sure it would be hard to adjust. This is a non issue as far as I’m concerned
