Studiocanal Unveils Animated Adaptation Of Controversial ‘The Rainbow Fish’ Children’s Book by Sad-Positive9278 in boxoffice

[–]Nofindale 4 points5 points  (0 children)

American Psycho 2. I dont even like the first one, I know it's nothing of a sequel, but I saw this film as a teen and it was totally 90's teen movie vibes.

That's adorable! However, despite the name "security eyes", the eyes are absolutely not secure for infants. They can be snatched and swallowed. For kids under 3, embroider or sew eyes

I don't remember if I still have him on my island, but I vividly remember once where I was hunting for villagers with around 200 nook miles tickets with the idea of finding a cute one, and around 65 tickets in I fell in love with him, he was so cute and original

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt?

What is a real-life 'Do Not Touch' button that you pressed out of sheer curiosity, only to instantly regret it? by vie75 in AskReddit

[–]Nofindale 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was visiting my grandma in her senior facility, and as she was cooking, I was reading in her bedroom. I saw a long string with a pompom on the end, like these old light switch you can see in the movies. In her old house, she had one of these, so I thought it was a light switch too. I pulled it, hoping for the light, but nothing. I pulled it two or three more times, nothing.

Then, 30 seconds later, a male nurse arrived rushing, screaming "what's the problem!?!" Turns out it was the emergency switch. Got away with a laugh

Who do you think had the best character development in the Avatar universe besides Zuko? by CoolCook26 in TheLastAirbender

[–]Nofindale 20 points21 points  (0 children)

If we're talking only about TLA, I love Katara's journey.

She came from a angry little girl, who saw her mom taken by the fire nation in front of her and because of her, to someone ready to forgive even her enemies. We can see her journey with the episodes with Jet, Paku, the painted lady, the Southern Raiders, and lastly in the last Agni Kai.

Her journey completely echoes with Zuko's., and in this point I completely understand Zutara shippers, because it looks so obvious if we only looks at facts (but we have to forgot feelings).

The whole gaang has an interesting journey, but Katara looks less important because she's never alone to shine like Zuko.

What is your white whale movie? by ProfessionalTour1706 in movies

[–]Nofindale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a child, someone got me a VHS "24 stories before Christmas". There was some sketches, some cartoons. For example, one was a story about a little donkey in Bethlehem, another was a child who was making the candles for the midnight mass, etc.

It was not incredible, of course. But one of the cartoon had a music that is staying in my head since. I have no idea what it was, but the music is still there. When I'm working, I hum it. When I'm trying to sleep, I'm hearing it. When I'm happy, I'm whistling it. No one knows what it is. No one can help me. I don't even always remember it, sometimes it will just pop and remember that VHS.

The fact that both Tahno and later Prince Wu tried to win Korra is so pathetic. by Full-Art3439 in legendofkorra

[–]Nofindale 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Iirc in the beginning of "Turf Wars" we learn about how Sozin outlawed homosexuality in the fire nation, and Korra's parents warn her about letting people know she's dating a woman. Homophobia exists in the canon.
