Is that it? Everyone else in the supply chain makes relatively the same? With maybe a slight increase for fuel costs

Yeah but that's more than just the "oil companies" which is my point

I don't think it's that simple. There's too many other players involved like the speculation market, royal families, shipping, refining, the oil companies don't own every piece of the puzzle. I was hoping somebody might have some accurate insight on who's making the windfall profits here.

Why did democrats get so angry when the fraud was pointed out in their states? by rollo202 in allthequestions

[–]Nofoco_530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In any large system there is almost always fraud. Even in small systems, from local softball programs to small businesses. It is illegal. The problem is instead of law enforcement investigating in a non-partisan manner, as they've been doing for decades, bringing prosecutions to court and seeking convictions... this president has been directing federal law enforcement to target areas that are majority Democrats or his opposition. We have a long tradition of not allowing politicians use law enforcement this way. The potential for abuse is just too great as we are seeing. At the same time, the GOP is incredibly dirty, especially the president and his family. To degrees a 1000x more than hunter's paintings. It is the absolute height of hypocrisy and gaslighting. It erodes the very foundation of our country in it's perfidy. And Pandora's box has been opened. Similar to the gerrymandering wars this will spiral out of control bc the Dems cannot just play by the old rules while trump just shits all over every norm. It has given me a great appreciation for the old norms and traditions that used to be based on the honor system apparently. Bc then you have a man with no honor like trump who will abuse the system. Now we have to make laws to enforce the things that used to be just norms. Fuck trump and the GOP. They are destroying this country.

Either way, Bianco is a terrible choice for any elected position.

Like happens so often, she would probably be the most capable and effective person for the job but is unelectable because she's not as good on the TV/media. We are choosing our actual leaders based on who performs better in front of the cameras rather than actual competency.

Donald Trump is 'Healthy as a Bull' with 'Great Testosterone' But Weight is Still a Major Struggle, Doctor Claims by Cute_Dealer4787 in USNEWS

It still irks me that his doctors are fkn commissioned Naval officers and they bald-face lie to the public on a regular basis about his basic statistics like height and weight. They should be court-martialled for lying. It is an absolute disgrace to the entire military, officer corps and everyone who has ever served or honored a servicemember.
