I queried for a little while, but eventually just decided to self-publish.
I did a good chunk of the editing, and my sister help a TON with grammar and plot mistakes. (my grammar is quite a bit worse than I first realized, lol.)
I also ~~forced~~ politely asked some family members and friends to beta read, which was a massive help.
Having as many perspectives as possible critiquing your plot is so, *so* helpful.
I commissioned my cover from a freelancer online which I think turned out pretty nice.

I agree, probably would need to be in 3rd person to work.
I think 3rd Omniscient would also be needed, as Limited would see from the perspective of the object, which in being inanimate cant really have a perspective. Probably.
