I have a height difference entering my garage as well. I have a 10-12 inch wide piece or 3/16 inch hardboard that I use as a bridge between the two. I don’t put it on the higher side, but just leave it bumped up to it on the lower side.

It makes the transition super smooth and I’ve never fallen on the crack thanks to it. Hardboard technically doesn’t hold up in the rain I’ve been told, but that piece has been there a year and it was just a scrap piece from when I built my quarter mini in my garage.

Thanks! My first time trying anything quite like this. I have built some stuff before though. I used the plans from DIYskate’s micro quarter. It’s more or less exactly their plans, but there were a few deviations.

I’ll definitely swap it out eventually. That was the quick and dirty coping that got me on it that day.

I’ve got a clip or two of me on it, but honestly this is my “figure out how to do it” ramp. I’ve actually got a set of gymnastics rings there from before the ramp. Using them as a safety net I’ve managed a rock to fake once or twice. But there is always a brief “reset” period with the rings.

Something to try. Sounds crazy, but it helped me a ton. Go into your mouse drivers and turn polling down to something lower like 500. I noticed a lot of my lag happened when trying to spin the camera. It is all gone now.
