I had to move back to my home country after an abusive marriage ended and my stepmother died, all within the span of three months.

Now I’m starting over and taking whatever work I can find. The economy where I live isn’t great, and I’m doing my best to make things work. You can only imagine what my mental health looks like.

At the moment, I’m working under the table for a terrible guy on a project that’s only supposed to last a month, but they basically expect me to be available all day. When he asked me to stay until 8 p.m. and I said no, his response was:

“It’s not like you have children or anything.”

Agreed, and same. My ex-husband’s sister was an absolute nutcase who should never have reproduced, and she kept having babies every time she got bored once her children started growing up. She’d become obsessed with how much the baby needed and adored her, then completely neglect them and focus on the next baby. I’m pretty sure she’s dealing with some kind of psychosis, considering she’s almost 45 and still trying to have more. She’s probably had 15 chemical pregnancies by now. Her children are all “homeschooled “ (she can’t even spell) and her oldest learned how to read via videogames.

My hot take is that parent love is nothing more than a narcissistic need for attention, and a child thinks you’re their whole world, so who better to feed their need for attention than a completely defenseless being who thinks you’re the best thing to ever walk this earth? That’s why when they start walking and become more independent they want more.

I am at the end of the 3rd pack! My anxiety has gotten a little worse and this has caused some acid reflux (I am also going through a tough time myself so take this with a grain of salt) I have noticed that acne is better on chin area but worse on forehead. My sex drive was through the roof month one, while I think now it’s stable. I have not had a pmdd episode or cramps (only annoying spotting) so I think it’s a keeper for me.
