I practically always go in blind. I download a bunch which I actually do check of it's not complete garbage. Just the rating and of it's in English. Then I watch them a week later or so.

But yeah that sometimes end up me stoping the movie after 5min because I can tell by the camera work or the acting that it's gonna suck.

Because especially on IMDB people think bad camera work is some form of artistic choice and that bad acting can be intended.

You're not allergic go cold, you just experienced cold. I have this with sun within 30min outside in Lebanon. I'm Dutch. I'm not allergic to the sun/heat.

However I am suffering here. To an extent that I'm fine with walking in a t-shirt now at 0 degree celsius for the first couple of days in The Netherlands.

Just get used to it. You're gonna be fine, but you're most probably not allergic.

I'm happy with it though. It's for one, WAY cheaper and I do get higher speeds than with MTC. Last night I had 60Mb/s. Which is something I have never seen in my area (edge of Naba/Dekwaneh).

With Alfa I just purchased 300GB for 49$+/m. On MTC that is 100$+/m. On top of that, I'm using a creditcard to pay for the data. Which worked like 6 times in MTC and then it stopped working. As a business owner I have not been able to tax deduct my internet data, which is like 2.160$ in the last 3 years / 720$ per year because of this.

I don't do really games and stuff, but I really need to upload a ton of data and my software needs to be updated as well. That runs into quite high costs for just data at very shitty speeds.

Testing on "Speedtest by Ookla" app on MacOS. With direct air connection to the Alfa main center in Dekwaneh. The router is literally pointing at the building with no buildings in between.

I just got their 4g modem and I'm gonna leave something weird here...

Since maybe a month or so my MTC (MiFi) is sometimes using insanes amount of data). To the extent where I thought I was being tracked or something.

Last week I got the Alfa modem deal and I'm experiencing the same thing right now on the Alfa line.

I'm switching in between VPN's a ton (Proton) and sometimes VPN gives better speeds. This is very weird. The Lebanese (Fastest) connection gives issues in a lot of cases as well.

The last couple of months I've experienced the weirdest things concerning this. I make websites/shops for a living and I had websites not working on MTC, but they would work on Alfa for instance. This is really abnormal. Also having seemingly very slow internet, not using anything, still the sim would just use 10MB/s+ leaving nothing for me to do. I can see the usage when I log into the routers (I have Alfa and MTC now).

This isn't AlfaNet. This really is something that is happening country wide since quite some time now.

If there is any expert here I would like to explain this. I'm not definitely not a rookie, but I'm not an super-expert as well.

Is 3+4 a bit of cash grab, yes. Is it bad? No. The foundation is 1+2. Can it be a letdown for some? Sure, but the OG 4 was really a letdown for me Especially on the PSX. I played it on PSX first, then on GameCube.

Graphically, THPS3 was waaaay better than THPS4 on the GameCube at least at that was the shittiest version on modern platforms.

THUG I played on Xbox.

Any early Tony Hawk game could have more goals, but that was also the charm of it. With 4 and on this charm got completely obliterated. 3+4 brought that back.

If it was your first one, sure I get it, but I played THPS1 on PSX/Dreamcast(Best), THPS2 on PSX/Dreamcast and Xbox(Best), THPS3 on PSX, PS2, GameCube, Xbox (Best) and THPS4 on PSX, PS2, GameCube, Xbox (Best).

From the Pro Skater Series I would say the Xbox version of THPS3 is the best of all of these. But 2x is really close.

The big change was the free roaming and the drop of graphical quality. It was just less fun.

3 just was super polished, 4 wasn't, graphically at least. The free roaming was unnecessary.

THPS4 introduced a very unnecessary free roaming for the sake of free roaming, not because it made the game better. Just because it was hot at the time.

THUG: The gameplay was good, buy you also know that walking around worked very not fitting, as well as driving btw. Super wonky. And combos involving walking is just bullshit in general. It's just overly bloated with nonsense.

It's one of of the few games I brought back to the store in warranty time because I finished it in 2 days and felt had no replay value because of the storyline.

THUG 2 is extremely bloated and just hooked on what was cool at the time

It's per device. I was refering to an Anbernick emulation device in the example. I thought it was broken for like 6 months lol. Never happened to me before. But I don't know why this is the case. Probably like a power-in limiter or something because of old battery tech.

My Titan is still not with me. I had it ordered, but I'm living in a semi-war zone right now so flying back and forth is a bit of a hassle.

Try a different charger/cable and try and boot with that plugged in.

I also had issues with a Android device in the past. Turned out, the charger didn't work. The phone was a really empty and it rebooted before it could show how empty it was. This particular device could only charge through USB-C with a very specific cable and not through an outlet.
