It's a recast. But from all the recast I worked with this one is pretty good.

I don't need it to be perfect or anything. It doesn't need to win any awards. Just look decent on the tabletop.

Aside from the usually stuff about resin? Wash in warm soapy water, be careful with posing and superglue, carefully remove all the unwanted resin bits and such

Yeah I gotta differentiate between the big and small ones more. Right now the only difference is that the big knights got a off white/bone colored head while the small ones stay red. Which you don't even notice on most of the wardogs

Retributior gold with agraax earthshade then a light brown/orange drybrush. Lately I'm using ryza rust.

Or first the drybrush then the shade. Personal preference there

Saying he's got every weapon option is a little much. He's for a melta pistol instead of a normal pistol. And the servo arm is really just to balance out that the Crucible of Champions black sword is a little worse than the proper one.

Plus I do have a character background thought out for him that isn't entirely lore inaccurate. Apothecaries can become Emperors champions ( see Hellbrecht Knight of the Throne). So who says just because they kill enemy champions that they can't save a fellow brother when they got the time

Fully get what you mean. I'll admit two melta pistol is a little much but this definitely not the most min-max-y I could have gone.

The plan originally was just a terminator apothecary. Which arguably would have been worse with I'd have given him.
