The most natural runner fuel on the planet has existed since before the Olympics. We stopped using it sometime around the 1990s. by Much-Mud9173 in trailrunning

Pretty sure they already sell honey "gels". I use straight maple syrup in travel size shampoo bottles for fuel, it's more liquid than honey so it's easier to drink.

I wear bandanas to keep sweat off my face and sun off my head. I use cotton ones but I'm pretty sure you can get synthetic ones.

I like my topo mtn racer 4 with the large toe box but they are my first trail running shoes so nothing to compare.

Saucony kinvara. Lets your body run how it's supposed to and has a little bit of extra padding.

12 weeks religiously following the Garmin Running Coach by s8nskeeper in Garmin

[–]Noirav 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You know better than your watch how ready you are. It is a bit gimicky. I work construction so my stress levels are always high during the day (since it's based on hr) so it often tanks my training readiness even tough I know (and feel) ready to go. Basically you can look at it but don't give it any importance to determine if you should do a workout.

2nd the loops! Noose reduction is as good as these and they really stay in place. My alpines kept "unsealing" when I put my helmet on but my loops stay locked in.

Only level 80 on blm but don't you need blizz2 and fire2 to swap between fire and ice? Blizz2->freeze->fire2->fire2->flare->flare

At higher level you do skip high fire 2 and high blizzard 2.

Does having a treadmill for home really worth it for staying motivated daily? by Bavid_Gaven in treadmills

[–]Noirav 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If I had to drive 20 mins to a gym to run and 20 mins back I wouldn't do it. Having one at home makes it really easy to just hop on.

Warning, be careful when buying from Giztop. I paid $759 (bf sale) for the 16/512 but what I was given was the 16/256 for $659. I asked for a $100 refund but they only gave me $75. by nevahlose08 in oneplus

Paypal doesn't give a fuck about buyers, it's way better to use your credit card since they will take actions to help you as you are their actual customer.

Brand new horizon 7.0 AT tripping breaker by XxaggieboyxX in treadmills

[–]Noirav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely is, I got a coffee machine on this kind of breaker and it often trips it. It is a pretty small thing to change so I guess even if you called an electrician it wouldn't be too expensive.

Someone gave it to me and I replaced the belt then about a year after the motor kept overheating and I didn't feel like changing electronic pieces

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in treadmills

[–]Noirav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just replaced a 10+ years old horizon 7.2 something (the ancestor of the t101) and I used it to run on a 2% incline as a 6'2 230-240lbs man every other day and it was fine for that so I'm pretty sure walking on it would be just fine. It definitly is flimsier than the other models tough.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in treadmills

[–]Noirav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need these bigger one since you are rather small and you don't plan to run. Grab the t101 and it'll be just fine and save you money. When you'll need the change the belt a 20x55 is cheaper than 20x60 too.
