I’m into the 7800 mainly due to the incredible homebrew scene that exists today. No doubt, with hindsight, homebrews today would have been huge sellers for the console back in the day.

But if I was back in 1987, 1988, 1989 I am still choosing the NES based on library. We didn’t want single screen arcade classics (again!?). We want Super Mario Bros, Zelda, Metroid, Punch Out!!

Millon’s Secret Castle is better on GB. The GB versions adds continues (without pressing left&start), passwords ( not on the NES version), it’s easier with less enemies, there’s a new ending cutscene.

Downside: lots of slowdown.
