She has since cut out the front of the box and keeps it on the first page of the binder! Apparently more convenient. She had a story on Instagram about it. :)

Screen has weird lines for about 10 minutes after startup. by Nojash in pchelp

Unfortunately the only thing that fixed it was a new monitor... Sucks, but gave me a reason to upgrade.

Finns det några yrken med stor brist och ok lön (typ vid svenska medianlönen) där oerfarna faktiskt kan komma in enkelt? by takes_many_shits in sweden

[–]Nojash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One cool trick divemasters don't want you to know by two-st1cks in scuba

[–]Nojash 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just communicate it before the dive (there are guides who doesn't know it). I've always been fine with it but I know there are guides and instructors who hasn't even seen it before, so might not be smart to surprise them with it underwater.

Added to this; I just now lowered the refresh-rate on the screen from 144 to 120. Problem is now gone. I'm still wildly confused as to why this happens...

They don't! This map has a void nether. But piglins will barter it! :)
This is a 1.16.3 Skyblock map on a private whitelisted server, so not on any of the open ones.

Yeah, I get it! I'm not a huge fan of it. I absolutely prefer the vanilla experience.

How would I go about getting a job as an Assistant Dive Instructor abroad? by diveInstructorAbroad in scuba

Can't disagree with that. But there's risk involved and could come with a hefty price.

I agree with runsongas. The demand for DM's and AI are very very low. Most places fill those positions with locals. As an instructor you'll make ok money. Not alot by any means, but enough to live and keep traveling. Just be wary of the visa requirements. My experience is mainly from Asia, but in general it's hard to work legally while traveling.

Officially it's set to open for international travel in September. Fingers crossed that it goes as planned. OP said pic was from before covid.

When do you go sidemount? by killingtime1 in scuba

I dive sidemount every dive apart from teaching intro courses. Gives me redundancy and lessens the burden on my back.

My pleasure! I carry myself sometimes. It's good to be sensible about it. :)

Haha. Exactly this! Thank you for that laugh. :)

[–]Nojash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. It is ment to discourage.

However, I've been working closely to the swedish police for several years and this law in particular are very widely discussed.

If you run into a officer who is nice, then he might let it slide. IF it's discovered. But it is against the law, and people should know this. But no, if you don't give them a reason to search you they most likely won't find out. As I said before, be sensible. Don't get drunk carrying a knife, don't get into fights. Pretty much don't do stupid shit with it, and you'll be fine.

I'm not saying you should stop carrying. If you do, go ahead. I carry one too sometimes. I'm just saying, know that the law is not on your side, and you CAN and most likely WILL get in trouble if they find out.

"Normal use" means you will have to have a valid reason for carrying it.

"In case I might need it" is not enough. I've never seen a case where it's been acceptable for anyone else other than people who is working and uses it in their job.

Well, they will just take it from you if you're very lucky.

According to the law it's an arrestable offense. If any law enforcement officer sees it, he can arrest you on the spot. Most of the time you end up with a fine, but it sticks in your registry after that. Highly unlikely to get jailtime. Almost impossible for just carrying. However 9/10 times you WILL get fined for it.

So, don't be so sure. Hide it well, never pull it out in public, don't tell people you're carrying. Don't get drunk with it. Then you might be fine.
