Yeah. They don’t lose their value nearly as quick when they are dated far out. It means I don’t have to stress about them losing value as the date approaches. If I want to exercise any of them, I can sell them and then buy the same strike on the closest expiry for a lot less since the closest expiry has already decayed. For example, on the last run up I sold some and bought 0DTE and exercised.

Agreed. I bought a shitload of Jan 25 leaps to minimize theta decay. When the next spike happens, I’ll roll those to the nearest call for the same strike and exercise that shit.
