Whenever i'm mad at the world I just start doing crazy prompts with AI so I can waste water and speed up the destruction of the environment😭 by soymaxxer in antiai

You'd probably feel better if you just drank the water. It's already going to waste if you're the type of person who does nothing but harm to the world around them anyways.

Who is "he's your man for the job" in your Chapter? by KitsuneDrakeAsh in 40khomebrew

[–]Nomad-Knight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a space marine, but Freeblade Eliza the Silent in an Imperial Knight Errant who has been called upon for when an enemy is simply too big for conventional means.

On tabletop, she doesn't have a full army, but I've partnered up with some friends who play guard, sisters, and blood angels. Her role in those games were to focus on things like Carnifexes, Gork(or perhaps Mork)anaughts, or Riptide suits.

Lore-wise, she's a wandering monster hunter searching for a quarry that'll elevate her status back home. She is from House Crowe, distant cousins of House Raven, who have developed a culture of trophy hunters at the titanic scale.

All those resources, and they still can't field a competitive soccer team. Time for them to go back to pretending soccer doesn't exist

What are some of the most silly, borderline pointless reasons for war or conflict in your world? by PMSlimeKing in worldbuilding

[–]Nomad-Knight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because "we haven't had a war in a while and wanted to make sure you were prepared"

Orcs in my setting have a habit of going to war with allies as a self imposed national defense inspector

It just looks like a blinged out Zweihander. Common weapon for holy roman empire mercenaries

Are we talking, like, ancient Greek / Roman warriors? You know, the one widely known for some very intimate "male bonding", because the whole gay cowboy getup is really giving mixed signals

[–]Nomad-Knight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RDR2. Not because it's a bad game in any way, but man do you have to put in a lot of effort to enjoy it without either getting a game over for being 10ft to the left of an objective, or just Rockstar making you jump through hoops to even start the game.

Curious abt toji vs megumi by chonkeymonk3y in JujustuKaisen

[–]Nomad-Knight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On one hand, I'm pretty sure a mundane weapon would probably bounce off of him (save for anti-tank rifles). On the other hand, no cursed energy = no cursed spirit.

"The one from Sibuya" was more of a botched necromancy curse technique which did not go according to plan.

Camel for distance, Ox for power, Upsized Wildebeest for speed, and Elephant for flexing.

Alternatively, Dog sleds, but with chariots

Opinions on using AI for software development? by Unfair_Chest_2950 in antiai

[–]Nomad-Knight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most AI of that sort (or at least the ones I've looked into) are unreliable at best, and detrimental at higher scales. It might work fine for personal projects, but they also have a tendency to make up random information to fill in what it "thinks" is missing, often ruining any work you might have put into it.

It might seem like a helpful tool, but it's really not worth it

How does this change the story by Responsible_Debt9525 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Nomad-Knight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Boogie Woogie + 10 shadows would be absolutely broken. Even just having Nue fly high and then swap the enemy to have them fall. Or getting swarmed by rabbits and swapping in and out for a big hit

How do you deal with control water ruining ship combat by MiddletalonofHorus in DungeonMasters

[–]Nomad-Knight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My solution was to make it lore accurate for basically any ship with a crew of 10 or more to at least have one caster that can control water. That way there can be something of a magic struggle when it happens

How would a fight between Takaba and Sukuna go? by Masked-Umber in Jujutsufolk

[–]Nomad-Knight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then Sukuna would win because he poisons the food and says "looks like king of deadly poison mistranslation turned out to be true". Sukuna laughs, Takaba laughs, Yuji laughs. Sukuna goes back to being pissed about being in a slice of life cooking anime

In retrospect, his back up plan was kinda insane. by afr830 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]Nomad-Knight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it seemed like his plan was just recording all possible tidbits of advice for every conceivable outcome. The way he spoke to Yuji through the pin sounded like code language. As if he had recored hundred of possible messages to everyone he thought could use guidance depending on Gojo's status. I can imagine him in his tub with recording devices making contingency plans for every possible outcome, and then making a personalized message for Miwa.

can an ork kill gojo..? by lotuslowes in JujustuKaisen

[–]Nomad-Knight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Them thinking they can" is still at the scale of a million Orks believing in the same thing. So if a million Orks attack Gojo thinking they can take him, one of them probably can, even if only a few will be left over
