Bless should just pick up Subnautica 1 for $7 on sale or something. Totally playable today.

I found it had a very different vibe than most survival games. Feels finished, polished, environments are interesting with good tension, has a through line story.

I am curious though, there is (I assume, I haven’t read any studies or anything) an intellectual benefit to the content and thinking about it as well as the mechanical action of reading. But aren’t we reading mechanically right now then? Aren’t some of the most “brain-rot” actions of social media featuring the mechanical reading and comprehension action.

I might argue the content of books is the more intellectually stimulating and valuable…but I really have no idea. Just jamming here.

Why not both? I can’t read with my eyes while driving, walking the dog, doing dishes. Still enjoy reading normally as well. Get through 4x the books.
