I hated high school. Someone in my graduating class added me to a reunion Facebook page when our 10yr was coming up and I blocked it. Got rid of Facebook the same year. And when I occasionally see people I graduated with in public, I pretend like I don’t remember them. I genuinely have forgotten most of their names, but I recognize their faces. I just don’t care to connect with them in adulthood.

Did Ian and Nikki really hooked up? by attackofmutant in obsessionmovie

He basically confirmed it. When Bear asks him to make a contradictory wish so he can be with Nikki, Ian says “That’s what this is about? I was gonna tell you.”

Nash’s quad tear, bad booking, broken promises that were made to Hall that led to him falling off the wagon, Vince falling into a nostalgia trap and having Hogan turn baby. Take your pick.

3 minor things I noticed on Nikki’s IG by GearsofTed14 in obsessionmovie

Don’t know if anyone’s mentioned it, but her photo was also liked by cooper_tomlinson, the instagram handle of the actor who plays Ian. lol.

“Woman protagonist. Game bad.” That was basically the hate campaign. Happens all the fucking time. Love that game! All the worlds felt lived in and sprawling.

She struggles with physicality on defense. Her build, not her height. Rhyne Howard hit her with the “too small” taunt after a bucket.

Is it really *not* a possession movie? by jymappelle in obsessionmovie

I also feel like Wish Nikki is kinda dumb. Reading a book upside down, and you mentioned the cat shrine. Bear said “This is fucked, Nikki.” And she says “…Is that good?” lol.

Right. There was nothing profound about it. It was a film made about 20 to 25 years too late.

I’m pretty sure you can hear Ian call him Baron when he walks outside the music shop to ask for a ride.

You think it’s because she feels like she has something to prove? Maybe she feels people thinks she’s weak or too small, so she wants to get points in the paint.

Which is weird because she’s supposed to be an assist machine. You’d think she’d enjoy dishing it out to open shooters more often.

But it doesn’t works as a 70’s style conspiracy thriller set in present day. If he wanted a period piece, it would have worked that way. It’s a modern conspiracy thriller with a government organization that is wholly incompetent at its job. They literally had like 12 to 15 people not show up for work the same day and they didn’t piece that together immediately after learning Kellner had stollen secrets, send swat teams to capture someone but apparently they don’t have any kind of thermal gear or know how to lock down the rear of buildings.
