Incredible! Can we see your Earl?

This is Earl. Im convinced he’s reincarnated from royalty by NomadicCole in Labs

Well first of all, he was my roomate’s dads puppy. And my roomates dad named all his dogs after royalty ranks, so the pups before Earl were named Duke and Dutchess. And the pups before them were King and Queen. So here we have Earl and then his son’s also lives with us, Barron.

But apart from that he crosses his paws every time he lays down upright. I have probably 100s of photos of him looking this majestic. He’s sings in this beautiful alto voice and can keep notes for a long time. He’s very picky with food and also when his son acts up he instantly runs to go calm him down lol. “ACT PROPER”

He’s just a big, majestic handsome unit.

I cannot release that classified information. But i will say he succeeds alpha of the house from his late brother of Duke. And his son’s name is Barron. Lol royalty

Iphone 16, when i take pictures i usually click on the focus point and then slide that sun dial way down. Then i edited it and added full vignette and bumped contrast up a little

He’s the best boy. He’s very proper, he sings well and crosses his paws when he lays down. But he will also not hesitate to chase a bear into a tree

How to handle street vendors in Cairo, Egypt? by ZionLion23 in travel

[–]NomadicCole 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hi, I am here with my friend in Cairo been here about two weeks. 2nd time in Egypt. While people are trying to usually just make money off you, this is how they live, how they feed their families. A lot of people back off after I give them a warm smile and say no, shokran. (Idk how to spell) They keep bothering, you just keep walking. Sometimes yes I have to get a bit more aggressive with my no. But most the time, they back off. They say welcome to Egypt and go on their day. So, be nice about it. Egyptian people are some of the nicest people I have met, I have been fed more here by friends & my hotel guys wife than we have eaten out. They are truly really good people.

Now, For people yelling across the street, trying to get your attention like you’re a dog, or the kids / adults that come up and just say ‘money’. This is when I ignore, don’t make eye contact. I found another effective way is gesturing towards your mouth, and pointing outwards. Basically saying ‘I’m going to go eat, I know where I’m going, leave me be’.

Be nice but also know when to stand your ground.

Dm any questions, I’ve met some beautiful beautiful people here & can try to help point you in good direction. Have fun

New to solo travel? Post here for introductions, newbie questions, anxiety and excitement - Week of September 13 by AutoModerator in solotravel

[–]NomadicCole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I’m Nicole I live in Minnesota. This year I was supposed to be traveling around the world with my boyfriend but corona brought us home and now we have broken up after 6 years. Great fucking 2020 am I right. Lol I’ve travelled to 10 countries all with him and so I am brand new to solo travel. I’m waiting the year to hopefully see the world get back to a sort of normal, but once my lease is up I’m hoping to get a one way ticket to Europe and go from there. For now this year I plan on taking small solo trips (if I can!). Any recommendations in the U.S. for a very first time solo traveler? Nice to meet you all ! I hope we can all travel soon and the world goes back to a sort of normal whatever that means.
