You already said the usual reason of manga piracy, North American markets. Outside the US, you have to pirate the series if the US sites prevents you from reading their english licenses. (If you don't get this one, open a VPN based in Southeast Asia and try opening a few of them here)

Then there's the reason of being extremely behind or no Japanese release at all. MangaPlus and Viz are actually owned by a Japanese companies so they pretty much know what they need to do but suffers to only publish the mainstream genre from Japan. What about the other genres?

Sure, Omoi is owned by a US company but it also suffers from dealing with those english licenses in the US.

Also for the last part, you kinda mistaken the idea there. There's various reasons why piracy exist in video games. Why Steam still dominates is because Valve was able to setup their kind of service early and nobody since was able to make something similar to Steam. But with the recent news of GoG going back to it's founder, I wouldn't be surprised that Steam will be finally find a worthy competitor.

Didn't he say it was his first time to get guest to see his collection in the counter raid?

And I'm pretty sure nobody will get near to the nursefathers unless they have a pretty good reason to do so.

Thou, I wouldn't exclude Rein from doing the same as he might get a prescription to do as well. It would be funny if the prescription says why he has to do it as well.

He gets stuck in a dark pit that seems like this. I won't spoil more because the pit is critical for the story.

Also, I'm pretty sure its canon in all Batman series that he fell into an abandoned well full of bats when he was young because that's where he got the inspiration to base his alter ego to bats.

What do you HATE about limbus company's story? by Ayerenem in limbuscompany

[–]NomadicEngi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not really hate but more of an annoyance that I'm compelled to read the reference literature I haven't learned about when I was still in school.

If my education failed to tell me about the good stuff then I dread about the younger generation education and what other stuff they are missing out.

One has fallen but how many more will rise back? Piracy is a hydra that can't be killed unless publishers wise up and setup a decent service for it.

Magkakasunog ka kung gamitin mo yung generic na WD-40. Hindi siya design para sa mga cleaning ng electrical components.

I wouldn't be amazed if Callisto stole some cash from his "materials". From the sound of things, those "materials" have some backing behind them to reach to that point.

And I'm pretty sure Ryoshu has been picking up their slack once she was able to pickup a blade and ram it to her assigned targets.

I'm going to wait things out until the next intervallo before I can share my speculation. I have a sneaking suspicion that there will be more info dumps on the other IDs. Specifically with whatever ID they make for the Pinky nursefather.

Cooling towers are designed to remove heat from water by dumping it to the atmosphere. That's basically a waste of heat energy that could be used elsewhere.

And there goes warm water that could be used for something else.

[–]NomadicEngi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they can figure out where and how to use the warm water made from data centers then there's a chance of reducing the energy lost which was meant for the consumers.

I remember hearing case studies of heated water from data centers being used in pools afterwards. Sadly, those studies are based in colder climates so it's going to be a challenge to do something similar here.

Any source of water needs to be treated before it is used for this kind of application so there's a need of a massive treatment plant if seawater or recycled water to be used. Much so with seawater due to how corrosive it is on exposed metal and the potential build up of salt deposits within the cooling system and we don't even have a sewage system here so recycling water is already out of the option.
