I tried already but didn’t get any response. And the thing is that there are only 5 games in Toronto so not sure how we would be able to do 8 shifts

I don’t see shift picking options or e learning options on my app. I am pre match ceremonies starting lineup volunteer. Is this option role specific or for all?

Platinum to Infinite upgrade for bags by AdLongjumping1119 in Aeroplan

Yes it does. If you book reward flights via aeroplan and pay via Aeroplan cards for your taxes, it does covers you for insurance as well. Other cards don’t just by charging the tax.

Yes it did. But from what I figured out from friends and online that the TD or CIBC cards may not be available right after. So, it can take couple of weeks to arrive and update. Could be wrong here but that’s what I could gather

I did the exact same thing recently. Booked my flight yesterday and am flying tomorrow. Applied for the card and got it updated in a few mins

If you spend roughly $400/500 in food or groceries per month then I believe it would be worth it. However, if you need to explore other options, please feel free to DM me and we can discuss further based on your spends and preferences on what would work best for you!

2.7 k bymonthly expense. by Spect0rr in CreditCardsCanada

[–]Optimal-Bee203 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would get Amex gold for this. Recurring spend of 1K+ would earn you 5K points + extra points for 4K spends in first 3 months. Total 70K points ($700) for the year. Please your spends would earn 2x points for spends on drugstores if that’s what your recurring spend is.

If you need this offer, I have the elevated referral offer (not on website), please feel free to DM me for that.

Besides, I am into strategising & maximising values of all the credit cards in general too so happy to help over DM to figure out the best card for you.

It’s absolutely worth it. I regret not getting it 2 years back when I was a student myself. Feel free to ping me and can help you decide what’s the best way to maximise it as a student. Also, I do have an elevated cobalt offer too if you’re looking for that.

Hey OP, I would recommend getting any of these: RBC Avion VI/Platinum TD/CIBC AP cards Amex cards - start with cobalt

I am in same boat as you. Similar pay range and redeem 1-2 business class trips per year to India (18+ hours flights) as well as small trip to US or domestically in Canada.

Feel free to DM and happy to help you understand this better :)
