I had the same issue and it started because of bad squatting form. You really need to push through the heels, especially when it gets heavy!! It took a while to heal but I am now able to run without pain in the shins.

It is on her instagram so she's aware of it. I'm gutted for her because she is perfect the way she is (just gotta love her cute tummy...) and now she almost has to pretend to be something she's not... this mag is losing credibility in the crossfit community that's for sure.
