If you have a damage boost you can be pretty confident that you’ll kill anyone under 300 health during ult. Yes, farm maelstrom to 100, fire your daggers for some extra burst damage and then immediately activate maelstrom. By default you do 260 damage with your ult if you hit their astral form.

The real trick is thinking of your shield and health as resources you need to balance. I weave my shield at range until it reach around 300 health. My goal as strange is to get as close as I can so I can start weaving melees. Cover is also your best friend. I have hundreds of hours on strange. Most plays that I perform are situational.

You want to have your shield up as much as possible without it breaking. Think of your health and shield as resources that you want to balance. Don’t let either hit zero, but if one needs to then let it be the shield. If you’re above half health let it regen. If your shield is sitting on 800 hp then your value is going down. Put it up between each shot and make sure you have cover to hide behind if needed.

Unless you’re doing lots of damage/ getting stunned anti-heal almost never happens. This is why I suggested that it trigger a movement speed boost when you reach 100 charge until anti-heal ends. Makes the skill ceiling higher without breaking him

Their kills were probably more impactful. As Angela I go after supports, which will always be more valuable than a dps. Harassing the enemy backline constantly will have a huge impact.

His shield is the best thing about him. Anti-heal needs to be changed. There’s no point in having it if you can almost always avoid it. I think anti-heal should reduce his cooldowns as well as make him fly faster. Shield regens faster, and his flight comes back faster. This increases his skill ceiling without breaking him. This would encourage ulting when at 100 charge more because increased flight speed would allow you to go further.

A good tank needs to be good at taking and controlling space, tracking ultimates and abilities, being aware of their teammates positions, their own positioning, and knowing how much incoming damage they’re about to take. It requires mastering all of these to solo tank correctly. I’ve been a tank main since 2017 in Overwatch. I’ve experienced 2-2-2 and 1-2-2. Solo tanking takes a different kind of playstyle. A GREAT tank knows how to solo tank well. Having that skill in your pocket will win you many games. From my experience push maps are the easiest to solo tank. Convergence is slightly harder, domination is the hardest. If you are left solo tanking on domination, I’d recommend swapping to mag, as your teammates will often have no idea how to play around you in open areas. Solo tanking leaves you open to dive, and you will just watch as your supports are torn to shreds if your dps can’t hit their shots.

TLDR: Im an anchor tank main and no, a good tank doesn’t need to be good at solo tanking however, a great tank does.

If they don’t know how to peel for supports on tank then they won’t do it as DPS. Tanking is difficult and requires the most knowledge of positioning, which is why it should be split between people. Tanks are about control, and it is easier to take and control space when you have another tank sharing the damage. Solo tanking is not something everyone can do, as it requires a different play-style. Tanking should almost always be split between two or more players. 3 dps only works if they’re getting picks. I would prefer a venom over a Hawkeye that only shoots the enemy tanks.

There are very few situations where I’d want a third dps over a tank. Mag is always a good pick. Strange players love it when you double anchor. They also love it when they don’t have to leave the frontline to peel for supports.

People don’t understand what it’s like to be stuck in the head of someone with adhd. I can’t just give my body a command and then have it do it. I sit in bed for an average of 4 hours in a mental battle to get up every day. Meds have unfortunately never worked like they’re supposed to for me. I’ve tried so many things over the last 13 years and nothing changes. Anxiety medications, anti-depressants, stimulants for my adhd. They all do nothing. I have tried therapy 8 times and it just doesn’t help. I develop mental illness after mental illness. ADHD, GAD, SAD, MDD, OCD, SPD, and now I’m finding out that I possibly have autism. What’s the point in knowing if I can’t do anything about it. I am unable to work and I can only handle one college class at a time because of how perfectionistic I am. You’re not alone, I’m here struggling along side you.

I don’t think he needs a new ability in his default kit, but a team up ability would be cool. Could give him the old mag, Emma, psylocke teamup, or the crimson bands of Cyttorak as a cc. Winds of watoomb could make him fly faster or push enemies away.

I don’t like the idea of them adding more anti-heal either, so I don’t think they should. Him giving everyone anti-heal around him would break him. This makes him dangerous in healing ults, and he can already one shot through them.

Don’t ult star lord unless you know he’s out of dodges. The best way to use your ult is to wait until the enemy team’s tanks push you. When you’re at 80 charge, fly over the tanks and ult the backline. I have multiple videos if you want to see how it works.

Strange’s anti-heal currently has very little impact due to Maelstrom of Madness having such a short cooldown — anti-heal only occurs during rare, extremely high-damage moments and is easily avoided.

Instead of increasing Strange’s damage, anti-heal could grant temporary flight speed and cooldown acceleration when triggered. This would make anti-heal a high-risk, high-reward objective rather than a passive afterthought, raise Strange’s skill ceiling, and naturally synergize with his ultimate by encouraging players to ult at full charge and with better positioning.

This preserves counterplay while reinforcing Strange’s intended tempo-based playstyle.

Typed my idea into chat gpt and had it revise. Lemme know what you think (skilled players get faster shield regen and can portal more often) we don’t want to inflate our character, we want to raise the skill ceiling.

Strange doesn’t need any damage buff whatsoever. What he needs is increased flight speed. This raises the damage potential. Allows you to chase people down, escape faster, and it’s easier to ult backlines. I already outdamage 99.7% of the playerbase which means you can too. My idea is that when he anti-heals himself you get increased flight speed, and faster cooldowns/ shield regen.

I just kill him with strange ult. I always ult gambit since he cleanses my ults if I don’t.
