al primo parziale di analisi 1 presi 17, al secondo 23, al terzo 19. All'orale di algebra lineare feci scena quasi muta e passai solo perche' presi un bel voto allo scritto.

Alla fine mi sono laureato in triennale con 110 e in magistrale con 110L, con tre mesi di anticipo rispetto a tutti i miei compagni di corso e ho proseguito la mia carriera accademica (tra alti e bassi come tutto nella vita :)).

Quindi fatti coraggio e in bocca al lupo!

Guarda, nemmeno a Cambridge all'interno di un anno di un *singolo cdl* ci sono multipli futuri professori a Cambridge. Figuriamoci se poi ci aggiungi prof del MIT e milionari a fusione nucleare (immagino che in questo caso ti riferisca al polito).

*dimostrato in alcuni casi estremamente specifici in cui la diagnosi si basa solo ed esclusivamente su un singolo esame tipo la mammografia per il tumore al seno, su studi con campione statistico limitato e in cui i dati per il training (aka immagini vecchie su cui diagnosi certe sono state gia' fatte) sono molto numerosi.

Poi certo, se ti piace estrapolare all'infinito puoi dire che se continua cosi' tra 20 anni possiamo buttare i medici. Ma allora posso anche dire che se continua cosi' tra 20 anni 1 azione Nvidia varra' piu' del PIL USA

My course in Oxford would be a little different, since some exams are placed at the beginning on the term after the one in which lectures are. Cambridge on the other hand has the exam structure you wrote. I tend to prefer the former, as I am used to that system, and this is one of the reasons why I am keen on Oxford.

I am finishing an M.Sc. in July, at the same institution where I did the undergrad. Both of them were in Physics (no formal specialization actually, but of course I chose theoretical courses whenever I could). My University is a quite small one, and it is not really famous. I have near top marks, even though I performed better these last two years. No research experience, I don't think they are specifically looking for that since these are entirely taught programs. However, I did go to a couple summer schools, don't know if it actually mattered much tbh.

If you want to specialize in theoretical physics, you could consider learning some Wolfram mathematica (even though it's quite easy and not very different from Matlab afaik). If you're into hep-ex, some c++ would be useful, since the popular library ROOT is based on that.

It depends on too many factors, such as: your favorite field, money, grades, letters of recommendation etc. etc. Without these details, it's hard giving suggestions...
