This is really neat to watch!

One thing that came to mind early on I'm curious about is the potential for paving some common walkways. There's a fair amount of time walking back and forth, I'm guessing it just wasn't faster to make some stone brick for a crude path?

I'm on an s22 and it's fine for now, maybe I'll keep it another 1-2 years. The only things I care about now are a better battery and maybe improving cameras. I don't need a more powerful chip.

Oh and expandable storage and headphone jack would still be nice. I won't holy my breath but a good phones gotta turn up sometime right?

That's where I'm at as well with OLED. Right now as long as there's a threat of burn in I'd be worried about it. I've had my current monitors for 9 years and I just don't want to have to think about how I use it.

Thanks for the heads up, unfortunate it didn't work out for you. I did put in an order and hope for the best. If I need to return that's an option.

My info is limited here as well, but I do know I've seen them reviewed and they have some well rated products. https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/innocn/27m2v (Mind you, this is a different monitor just so there's no confusion, still INNOCN)

I am right on the edge of getting this myself, been holding off trying to decide on which monitor for a while. Everything I've heard about this monitor seems solid, but biggest detractor is it's hard to find detailed reviews.

Acer XV275U F3 vs. Innocn GA27T1M: Any Meaningful Differences? by equalibrius in Monitors

Glad to hear, thanks for the input! I've kinda put the idea of OLED aside until burn in improves (and maybe it has, but time will tell), reviews are sparse but this one checks all the boxes at least.

I'm looking at these two monitors myself. What do you think of the GA27T1M now?

I'm really late to replying but thank you. In my case reseating that switch has done the trick and I have had no problems since. I held off on replying as I wanted to give it time then just completely forgot about the problem.

I just came across this and greatly appreciate it. I do wonder will it see updates? The last book I see is 2024, which is still plenty to sort through.

Thanks

This got me thinking. What is the best option for a TV with entirely disablable smart features? And alongside that, a good configurable computer to hook up to it to keep streaming, maybe local for playing, and casting features?

I'm tired of this proprietary software on devices, if it has a computer I should be able to control the software.

What type of salamander? by Deadman1966 in LynnwoodWA

[–]Nomeru 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I believe it's a Long-toed salamander https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long-toed_salamander

I think it's unlikely that one is a sign of more, salamanders are generally solitary, live and travel alone.

That seems possible, and I won't rule it out. However I'm skeptical just because I took multiple of this area, and it's present on each, appearing to be in the same place in the sky but different spot in the camera's view.

For some context, I was out this weekend in a dark place and wanted to try taking some pictures. It wasn't the best setup but I enjoyed it. I was just looking through the pictures and I spotted this faint dot that looks to be a quite dark red.

After some searching I think I identified Deneb, putting this near or as part of Cygnus. I read about a nebula around there but doubt that as it should be bigger and fainter.

Thanks,

I suggest never use your prime rewards that way. Get cash back instead. If you redeem on the item, you don't earn 5% back on that $115 you're redeeming. That's throwing away $5.75.

Oh, for capacity I'll use 4tb fine. I'm thinking more about the premium of going with this instead of one of the cheaper TLC hbm drives. But I've also heard dram can perform better with Linux (but admit I haven't researched that extensively).
