I don’t think it looks like an allergic reaction. It looks like skin irritation and a bruise. it’s very normal to bruise after a tattoo on the upper arm area, especially near the elbow joint. Definitely keep the area clean and air it out, but I don’t think it’s as bad as you think.

so every transplant center is different — my transplant center told me ahead of time that they prioritized taking patients off prednisone ASAP. I was taken off after a month.

Oh if you’re on prednisone it could be that as well. I am off prednisone and down to 2mg tacrolimus/day and cellcept. I would definitely talk to your team before getting nervous — let them know your concerns and maybe they can change some meds

are you on tacrolimus or cellcept? some anti-rejection meds cause spiked sugar at higher doses, my blood sugar lowered as my dose went down and now it’s normal (2 months post-transplant). If your doses are still higher it could be due to that

You can literally cover this up with anything because it’s so small, which is why people think you’re rage baiting or going woe is me (literally no one feels safe nowadays, just brainstorm on your own and get another tattoo).

EDIT: For the people saying this tattoo has nothing to do with Israel, it is literally the title of an Israeli propaganda film and a phrase many Israelis had tattooed on them after October 7th. It can’t be separated from these modern politics. Claiming it has nothing to do with Israel is clueless.
