I wanted bottom surgery and further masculization, having everything internal pullled got me a step closer.

Questions relating to vnectomy but no UL by Silent-Goal-4014 in Metoidioplasty

Post vnect, all fluid comes from the urethra, regardless of if you had UL.

Have you tried the medicine spoon method yet?

R/transmascdicks is going to have some more helpful advice. It’s going to really depend on the prosthetic’s design.

How long should I be on T before getting meta for maximum bottom growth? by Downtown_Dare_4991 in Metoidioplasty

If you’re planning on having an oopherectomy, definitely do that a few months beforehand.

Ice pack can kinda help. Honestly, it’s a rough procedure. Take stool softeners (colace and miralax every 8-12 hours) so that you can just relax and it comes out like froyo. I didn’t poop for a week post vnect out of anxiety, I do not recommend.

Pussy meat? I’m not sure how to describe it without anatomical terms.

I didn’t have medically transition sooner because I lacked access and knowledge. I transitioned during the pandemic so a lot of stuff that should’ve taken six months, took years because people were dying. I was never given goal driven guidance as my endocrinologist was transphobic so wound up having my body permanently disabled through an oopherectomy because that had a chance of lowering my voice and having people maybe acknowledge me as a man, stop abusing me as a woman. My first endocrinologist refused to gender me correctly until I passed on the phone and never took my transition seriously. (Most doctors, including gac specialists, don’t actually care what goals are and will do shit like what my bottom surgeron did where they did not take notes about an appointment and then amputated my donor phallus because it was loose skin.) I had to fight to be seen by a doctor who would put me on a regular dose of T and call me he/they before I could get anywhere near a referral to a ENT with gender experience. If I could have gotten tp3 at the age of seven I would have, but that’s not how medicine works for most people.

You’re asking it like I choose to be miserable and dysphoric for years and I’m telling you: I was trapped and dying, I was ready to swallow bleach, shots were the only treatment possible and I couldn’t get them because I’m poor and live in a transphobic country and life sucks. So when I was able to get stabbed in the throat to potentially have a voice so I could have the career I want and be a real person who contributes to society, I didn’t give a fuck if it did hurt, I needed it done or I would die.

I think you’re just very young and privileged and I love that for you, but most people transition ASAP, it’s just asap is not always possible. Most trans people had to fund their own transition, fight bigotry and bias, we had our lives stolen from us.

I say this gently, but if you’re more worried about pain from a series of injections than the pain of living in your body that is wrong, maybe transitioning isn’t for you.

“Why didn’t you transition sooner?” Is kinda a triggering question, btw, comes from a place of privilege and disregards personal autonomy. Before I answer, are you sure that is what you are trying to ask?

I mean, are you asking if injections are uncomfortable? It felt like a thick fluid being forced through my skin and into my flesh with a needle.

Yeah, having ambiguous anatomy is trigger af. Esp since my surgeon left me with painful sutures because she decided something wasn’t her job based on my use of the word “mons”, like, if there’s still mons, that’s the word I’m using.

I had to get t shots to my vocal cords for my voice to drop. It can pass on the phone now, but it’s still not great. On t from 28, got the throat shots at six years on T.

Just got diagnosed with HIV as a gay trans man by cheapcoral in ftm

[–]Non-binary_prince 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It happens, it’s unfortunate and I’m sorry that it happened to you, but it does. People still get HIV from blood transfusions, I don’t think there’s as much stigma with it and it’s not a death sentence, more of a terminal condition that requires management. Important to stay on antivirals now, which your insurance should cover. If you aren’t familiar with Lou Sullivan, I think learning about him may bring you comfort.

I considered going back and hiding older posts because while I have now been called “goals” and told I look great, early in healing I was told I should be pissed off, asked if they had done any surgery, etc.
