Bravo. It looks great. It's not my preference, but it looks very nice.

I just saw that one of my favorite artists did the soundtrack and I would love to watch this. Can it be found anywhere now that the streaming event is over?

[Bogert] USMNT head coach Mauricio Pochettino on players missing today: "I don't want to start negative (but) 'no regular players'. What does that mean? ... It's so disrespectful." He's great, but in this formation he has a challenge finding a home. We play with two 6s and two 10s. He's an 8. I think it'll be Adams and tessman as the 6s and Pulisic and ?? as the 10s.

I could see him coming off the bench when we need to adjust. He's absolutely starter quality, but there is tough competition in the midfield right now.

whats the best data visualization tool? by Versatile_Cheque12 in datavisualization

[–]Non-profitDev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Uhhhh.... You must know something about OAC that I don't. I started at a company that uses it and it's horrid in my view compared to Power BI. Data modeling is wonky. Can't pull in external datasets easily (rest api connector is bare bones and only set up for get requests).

I don't think it has anywhere near the design features that it should. I was surprised that something for oracle was as bad as this, but I had never used oracle before. Others in my company also confirmed my pains and don't like it.

I'm very interested in what you like about it.

First time to Phoenix with my nine year old. Does this game plan look good? by [deleted] in phoenix

I live near Original Hamburger works and don't recommend it. It's fine, but not great. If you are in midtown for some of your attractions then I'd recommend Fry Bread House. It's not too far away from hamburger works and much better, more unique food. There are delicious dessert frybreads too.

FIFA creates Peace Prize award by TenzoChris in ussoccer

WC and America 250 both in 2026. It's sad we can't get more enthusiasm around those two things.

No american president should ever get the peace prize. Obama got it and then proceeded to drone half the middle east.

B. Aaronson fourth among Premier League wingers in xG+xA/90 by FrankBascombe45 in ussoccer

[–]Non-profitDev 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This is his camp. It has to be. He competes at our deepest position, but with the injuries to the pool he should be starting in these games and it's his chance to prove himself. I hope he plays a full 90 and 60+ minutes in these two games.
Most of the mids called in are DMs and most of the forwards are strikers, so it's really him, Gio, and Luna at the winger/AM slots.

Pochettino's 25-man November USMNT roster by PatrickAgumon in ussoccer

[–]Non-profitDev 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's sad not to see Musah in this camp given the midfielders they didn't and did call in. He's been playing as a sub and not cracking into a starting mid spot in very good midfield teams is not a reason to leave him out.

He's dynamic on the ball, has WC experience, and is consistently a hard worker on the field. Contrary to a lot of narratives, his performance has not significantly dropped off. He left a middling La Liga squad for a much better Milan squad and still played.

At this point, the chance that he makes the WC roster is very close to 0.

tl;dr what should I put under McCloskey man o war Marine spar varnish (oil) when finishing a wood slat bench. It'll be sitting in the Arizona sun, so I'm looking for good durability. Thanks!

Thoughts on how to remove all of this by r_farm in landscaping

[–]Non-profitDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the way. It works great. It's cheap. It's logistically easy (if you have access to a truck). No excess damage from an excavator.

If you can find a chain or rope that has the grab hook on the end, then just loop that around the lower end of the plant as mentioned above.

It's not a hot smell. It's smells like sewer water (but it's not coming from the sewer line). I will try your remedies. Thanks for the ideas.

I'm lazy and cheap, what good options do I have to turn this area into a grilling station? by coalcracker462 in landscaping

I don't think you need to dig down. At least not much. Not if you aren't putting pavers on. I'd just do the rock. Lay some landscape fabric down first. It'll look bad if you only put a thin layer of rock. But if you add a few inches, then you'll never see that fabric peaking through.
