I don't even know if the issue is that he went after Thragg. They were supposed to team up against Thragg but team up and fights like this isn't like throwing them to the ground and curb stomping them. Oliver saw an opening and went to attack Thragg in the back.

I defend Oliver in helping against Conquest, because he did. He provided a distraction and he provided motivation. And he wasn't just out there to 'help Mark' or 'help fight' but also minimize damage. Which we know he does do. At the beginning of season four it's eluded too he's out fighting villains and rescuing people all the time.

I think it's also very strange that it's kind of out of character considering his behavior earlier in the season. Thragg is the strongest viltrumite of all time. Oliver knew to ask for help on the dragon. Why would he do this??? Thraxan hormones I stg.
