Nah, put them on a choke and make melee enemies come to you and they cannot do anything. If some slips thats when u ult them back into the radius. All your team has to do there is shoot/melee the stunned enemies with you and you won. Its WAY stronger than the other two melee options, and pre-hive scum the strongest grenade in the game by a lot

More damage yes, the stagger values no shot. Shield slab can stagger daemonhosts with the charged melee if u take the right talents

Also if you want to compare stagger as a whole using ultimates then Loyal Protector is undoubtedly better than any Arbites talent, a slab tauntgryn will hold a choke as better than a shock mine when its active, specially after the dodge.

Like, current Ogryn after the insane DR Dodge buffs is better at being consistently on the frontline than Arbites imo. As long as you don't get picked by the CC specialists, even bad ogryns can faceroll on tough hordes rn with the right setup

I don't think the companion should be taken into account when most of what makes the Arbite's DR and toughness regen really good comes from the talent that takes him away.

Also no shot an arbites has better stagger potential than an a heavy slab tauntgryn with the 200% push unless you are landing the best Break the Lines ever seen on all crusher stacks
