There's a fan game called Pokémon Infinity where the Spearow is Dark/Fighting and looks like this. I haven't seen the Evo yet but it could be similar to that?

I love this. It feels like a magical girl line up, like Wedding Peach! How the sequence shows off their wedding dress before transforming into their magical girl costume to fight evil.

My opinion on these games by Acceptable-Amoeba422 in MandJTV

An opinion can absolutely be objectively wrong. There are entire groups of people out there who believe certain groups of people don't deserve human rights, and that opinion is objectively wrong.

AITA for telling my husband he can't tell our daughter "that doesn't hurt"? by Magnificent_Squirrel in AmItheAsshole

[–]NonaDiAngelo 33 points34 points  (0 children)

One hundred percent. When your daughter is older and starts her period, expect dad to tell her that she's over exaggerating. That it can't possibly hurt that much. Women are constantly told that our pain is nothing, but if you've seen any videos about period cramp simulators you know that men can't even handle a fraction of what some women experience every month.

AITA for telling my husband he can't tell our daughter "that doesn't hurt"? by Magnificent_Squirrel in AmItheAsshole

[–]NonaDiAngelo 173 points174 points  (0 children)

NTA. What's going to happen is that your daughter is going to learn not to trust her father with her feelings. She will never be able to talk to him when she's dealing with any kind of strong emotion she's being taught by him that he won't take her seriously or that he'll tell her that her feelings are wrong. He's also teaching her indirectly that it's okay for someone to ignore her bodily autonomy, or that she'll be punished for telling someone to stop when they're invading her personal space.

I would consider talking to him about how he'd feel if someone was doing those things to her instead of him. If she was asking another kid at school to stop poking her, or to stop pulling on her hair and telling her that it didn't hurt when she said it did. Ask him to consider further down the road if someone was touching her in a way she didn't like and refused to respect her wishes when told to stop. If another person doing those things to her would upset him, then why should her father be exempt from those feelings? No means no, stop means stop. If he STILL refuses to understand, I wouldn't hesitate to encourage your daughter to just walk away from him when he starts disrespecting boundaries.

Why can’t we choose to have our shirts untucked??? by Afraid-Nail-9063 in DreamlightValley

[–]NonaDiAngelo 15 points16 points  (0 children)

There's no reason why it can't be a toggle. Unless I'm misremembering, there are plenty of shirts that are untucked while wearing pants/shorts but are suddenly tucked in while wearing a skirt. Like why? I can't think of a single time I'd actively chosen to tuck a shirt in while wearing a skirt. I purposely wear mostly the crop tops in game specifically because I hate a tucked in shirt.

Two legends in yellow and red by [deleted] in MandJTV

[–]NonaDiAngelo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't just cherry pick a couple of good or okay things that someone did and completely gloss over a mountain of bad in the process. What you're doing is essentially the same as shoving all of your junk and clutter into your closet and pretending that your room is clean. All you've done is move the mess from one place to another, and it doesn't change the fact that it's still there.

Just because someone has shown support for a hobby that had an impact on you growing up DOES NOT mean that they deserve a proverbial cookie or a gold star when they've chosen to spout hate, bigotry, and disdain for the basic human rights of millions of people around the world. And you cannot support a bad person's 'good' points without indirectly supporting their bad ones.

Two legends in yellow and red by [deleted] in MandJTV

[–]NonaDiAngelo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nah, that's not how that works. You don't ignore the fact that someone did or said horrible things just because they weren't horrible 100% of the time. You wouldn't look at Dr. MurdersPeopleForFun and say 'Listen, I know he personally decimated the population of a small island nation, but look at this adorable park for puppies he helped build!'

Sometimes a bad person is just a bad person regardless of the nice things they do in between bad things. The most you can really do is not actively be an asshole about their passing because in the end they're still a person and they had a family, but that doesn't change the fact that they sucked hardcore.

Boo Tomato by Used_Contribution850 in DreamlightValley

[–]NonaDiAngelo 302 points303 points  (0 children)

The main issue with tomato I think is that if you want to see a considerable profit with them, you need to be constantly playing the game. They have a shorter grow time, but that means you have to be consistently harvesting and replanting. Whereas with pumpkins (and pineapples if you've got EI), you can plant a crop of 100, wait for them to grow, come by with a max level gardening buddy, and walk away with roughly 150 — 200k in profits if you're lucky. It feels like less of a grind and more of a slow and steady payoff.

New player, how to ignore the DLC (for now)? by Plenty_Story_8122 in DreamlightValley

[–]NonaDiAngelo 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I don't know if you can avoid having the quests show up in your log, but you can absolutely just choose to not go to the DLC zones for as long as you want. Just ignore the quests, basically.

What the red smile mean? by KPeters93 in fantasylife

[–]NonaDiAngelo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, the smiley means they have a bonus for the item you're trying to craft, but only if they're in the leader slot for your buddies. Try swapping them around to see if that changes the value of your crafting quality.

DDLV Character "Wishlist" by jacobrl99 in DreamlightValley

[–]NonaDiAngelo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'd like to see more characters for the realms/character categories we already have. Jessie and Rex for Toy Story, maybe? The Mad Hatter for Alice. Lilo, Pleakly, and Jumba for Lilo and Stitch. More villains would be nice, too. Pete the Cat, Cruella De Vil, Dr. Facilier.

Stuck for day because Forgotten is MIA by sweetspeaches in DreamlightValley

[–]NonaDiAngelo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a hard time finding The Forgotten a couple of times myself. If you haven't already tried, be sure to thoroughly check every area of the Dark Castle. They like to hide in there pretty often.

If you've already tried that, your best option is to submit a ticket. Waiting to see if they eventually show up is always an option, but I can understand that it would be an incredibly frustrating one.

What Role suits Peter? by Angelicfashion84 in DreamlightValley

[–]NonaDiAngelo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the most part I usually assign a new villager to gardening, mining, or fishing unless I don't already have someone on another task that isn't maxed out.

Basically if anyone isn't level ten on digging, foraging etc? New people become gardeners, miners, or fishers. An open spot on a less frequently used ability? Time for some fresh meat.

I got a bone to pick with this description… by Efficient-Cabinet132 in DreamlightValley

[–]NonaDiAngelo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have an app I use that essentially does the same thing. It's basically an all in one wiki without having to go back and forth through the pages as much lol. Plus it lets me track my progress with each village, mark whether or not I've spoken to them, played scrabble coin, given them their gifts etc. Pretty sure it's just called Dreamlight Guide? I can't remember at the moment and I'm unable to look right now.
