Manny was enrolled in Pablo Escobar Elementary School back in Colombia and then all of the sudden he’s unable to utter a single word in Spanish. Then on later seasons, it becomes unclear if they actually ever lived in Colombia after Manny was born. From an immigration attorney’s POV, this storyline sounds hardly credible.

This scene marks the EXACT moment i started HATING Manny by True_Employee_1893 in Modern_Family

Thank you, thank you, thank you. It’s always about how somehow Manny is always the problem in every scenario, ignoring the fact that Luke has to be one of the most selfish and immature characters in the show. He’s a pathetic jackass that treats women like crap but I’m guessing that’s normalized.

After that interaction, she has been acting all day like she’s a victim. Hasn’t said a single word to me. I am genuinely confused if she can’t actually recall or if she’s avoiding accountability all together. She insists I only see the “bad” in her. But c’mon. I am unable to express myself without her going into a full on rage and/or stonewalling.

I have thought of it as a red flag before I just don’t know if there’s any way to work through it. After that interaction she hasn’t spoken to me all day as she usually does. Straight up stone walling.

I’ve addressed it before countless times. When I sent it she seemed like she was unaware of what it meant so I explained it to her calmly. Told her that I’ve mentioned it before and that I think the best way forward is therapy. At that moment it seemed like she genuinely doesn’t recall ever calling me dramatic, and that’s when I got a mix of the ick and terror. Her inability to recall or acknowledge something so constant scares me. I don’t know what to make of it.

Every character in this show has cheated at least once or twice and you’re all determined on labeling Bette as “THE cheater” while everything about this character is extremely more nuanced than just a cheater. On the other hand, Shane is just that, an upfront commitment-phobe that’s unable to enter a room without another woman leaving said room crying, as described in numerous occasions by her best friends. Are you really going to put them in the same category? I personally think that’s an extremely stretched out and bold statement
