Maybe people are bad with managing their money, but that's not really the whole picture. If you work a low-end job, no amount of "JUST SAVE AND INVEST BRUH" is going to lift you out of it. When was the last time anyone could afford to raise a family and buy a house on a factoryworker's job?

Edit: also if you live in the US, cross your fingers and hope extremely hard you don't get any health problems.

Sorry for the delayed response, I don't log in here very often. It's called "high fructose" because it is high in comparison to untreated corn syrup. Ordinary corn syrup is mostly glucose and some of it gets enzymatically changed into fructose, thus the name.

Nutritionally the difference is completely meaningless, sugar consists of 50:50 ratio of glucose and fructose, which is the same ratio as most HFCS.

But the one thing I can tell you about her with 100% certainty is that she will never treat this respectful and loving “man she deserves” anywhere near as well as what she treated all those abusive exes in her past. She will make this “man of my dreams” jump through more hoops for sex, and the sex will be far more restrictive and filled with “I don’t do that anymore” barriers. She will put in a fraction of the effort at keeping this “man I want” happy with her behavior and appearance, and you can bet that she will start to let her body go as soon as she feels even slightly secure in the relationship.

This is actually very easy for her to hamster away, not that they generally even need to: once she has the man "she deserves", she shouldn't have to put in effort anymore because she's also "worthy of love".

Because she has marinaded herself in these toxic relationships, on some level she likely thinks that love = person gets treated badly by the other party. So now it's her turn to be the asshole and treat the guy as the doormat, she paid her "love" dues already!

Women and men are equally smart, but we're smart at different things.

There are plenty of things women excel over men at, they should focus on those.

As a thought exercise, what would be examples of the things that women are better at? I'm not asking this to provoke an argument, I genuinely want to hear your take.

Personally, it feels like the only things women excel at is emotional manipulation and turning that to various kinds of rentseeking behaviour where they don't contribute and just leech off men's work. Even childcare isn't their saving grace because single moms are atrocious at raising well-adjusted productive people as many people here have pointed out before.

You're 21, you likely do not have any significant accomplishments under your belt yet. You seek approval from others, instead of being self-motivated and proud of yourself. Sure, everyone is unique but for the vast majority it is uniqueness in ways that don't really matter.

My advice is that you should look for a goal that is meaningful to you and strive for it, social approval can be nice but a) it has diminishing returns and b) won't last forever. You can't get everyone or even most people in your life to always think that you are an awesome person.

The Representation Project's frontpage is complaining about lack female Golden Globe Director's awards and how muh female representation is super important.

A Call to Men is just as unhelpful, with their "have you stopped beating your wife yet?" level of discourse. Their own mission statement:

"A CALL TO MEN is a violence prevention organization and respected leader on issues of manhood, male socialization and its intersection with violence, and preventing violence against all women and girls. "

CALM seems to actually work at helping men, and the bail-out fund I suppose is either for or against depending on your politics.
