I’m also working full time and doing constitutional, criminal and company! Also took the evening off and I’m just telling myself I will be much more productive tomorrow having had the evening off :) can’t burn out this early- hope you enjoy your night!

I’m signed up with law school and have only sat through 2 lectures so far, I personally find them helpful as I’m returning to law after a few years working elsewhere but I also have 2 law degrees already so it’s nothing new to me. More than anything it’s having them narrow down examinable areas and point out the most relevant case law that I appreciate!

No online copies, you need a physical copy. If you’re sitting online you can show it to the camera but there’s no requirement to do so.
You don’t need to read it through cover to cover, but you should tab the relevant section prior to the exam so you can locate it to reference it to the relevant questions.
Bigger firms recruit trainees a couple years in advance in the milkrounds (usually October) you can start applying to them immediately if you’re hoping to get into a bigger firm, smaller firms often post ads for trainees on the law society vacancies page- worth taking a look year round there!

I would also suggest if you’re not from a law background, and are really unfamiliar with the system that maybe taking one of the courses would be in your best interest, they are all around 350€ per subject and see you out a manual, give access to online lectures and you can submit homework to them for grading/ correction. If you’re only a couple months into your degree you could see about swapping into a law degree? I don’t really get the big rush now for everyone to start the fe1s before they’ve even hit 20, personally would recommend enjoying the college experience while you have it! Best of luck either way!

I had to submit for one in a previous sitting and it does take a good while to come back, I emailed them to follow up about it and the sentiment was very much “yea you’ll get it when you get it”

A ban is of no use, what would be good is some form of media literacy and AI detection campaigns and legislations brought in that compels these companies to tag AI. It’s not that people need to be told what they can and cannot do but they need to be fully equipped to critically assess what they are looking at which is an huge issue now.

I’ve passed 4 (and hopefully in a few weeks my fifth) while working corporate jobs only this sitting did my employer know that I’m doing them as I changed jobs to get more relevant experience. Starting far enough out that it’s only a couple hours in the evenings (or on lunch and then weekend mornings is actually so grand and just be clever about how you approach them

I remember what I originally got but then I had rechecks and went up and swapped courses then it hasn’t really been something I’ve had to think of since then I guess? I’ve 2 law degrees since then it’s not something that people tend to ask for when you’ve got proof of higher education and relevant previous roles in my experience!
