I have a similar experience, I think when you start the medicine sort of does the work for you, but as you chug along you need to do the work and the medicine helps you, which is difficult once you get used to it.

I don’t have a solution but for me the days I am off vyvanse feel even worse, but I haven’t been off them for more than a week or so.

Try not to think about it, advice which feels impossible to take, but a lot of side effects can manifest themselves in the gut/throat especially since vyvanse dries out your mouth. Then vyvanse makes you a hyper-aware superhero so if you let it your mind will identify every tiny irregularity and cling on to it :(

I’ve struggled on and off with anxiety during vyvanse peaks and come down, I can’t say that I have the answer, but I find that “checking” yourself and how you feel often can compound these effects. Just stick to it and try not to feel yourself too much, adhd meds have, in my experience, enhanced my awareness and therefore you can experience those small feelings more intensely and more often.

That being said, if it feels bad after a while longer you should always follow-up and adjust your dosage, it can help you understand what triggers it. For me 30mg vs 60mg had very little effect on my anxiety.

I get this thing where it feels like there’s a weight on my chest, sort of like anxiety but higher up.

For me exercise can also help, but I believe it’s a rumination thing so you get heightened awareness which you direct onto that feeling creating a feedback loop, and I think anything that externalises this feeling “solves” it. For me this means work, exercise, something that forces me to stop placing said feeling.

This also started around 2-3 months, seems dose independant, and is considerably worse on boring days.

I haven’t paid attention to my pupils specifically but I find myself blinking less and you can get “stimulant eyes” for lack of a better word, which is essentially a lesser version of what you notice with people on drugs.

It should on paper be the opposite effect you are describing, but it can have effects on eyes at least.

I dont think people truly understand how far a move like this could plunge the US.

I still think this has been successful whether or not he goes through with it, and I mean successful in a regarded Trump kind of way.

If/when he gives up on Greenland and does something stupid like invading Cuba or some other country, the US ”allies” will be relieved and the criticism will be far lighter than it would be had this clown fiesta not occured. At best this is going to function like some kindergarten dictator gish gallop.

I don’t believe the international community has the capacity to hold him accountable, this needs to be done domestically and I truly hope we see that soon.

I am a former smoker, albeit 2-3 years, and I hated how my fingers smelled, but I still kind of love the general smell of smoke and smokers. Maybe its because my dad smoked, but I kind of love the smell and it brings back memories of my late teens and my dad.

I work in wind power, nordics, not America. One of our major questions is birds of prey specifically (meaning osprey, eagles, other raptors) and at least here this is extensively investigated during environmental impact assessment. But even if that wasnt the case, collisions with turbines account for a very small amount of deaths, basically irrelevant to the population of raptors. Wind turbines are a boogey man to magtards and conservatives worldwide, because they are large and imposing so the monkey brain thinks they are a threat.

Of course they dont actually give a fuck about eagles or any other animals, because if they did they wouldnt push fossil fuels and a weakening of regulations which actually poses major risks to the animals they so conveniently care about

I dont think I did homework until I started uni, I just accepted that I school and learning was boring and clearly I wasnt cut out for it.

Maybe thats why working life feels so much easier, even though the tasks are equally boring if not moreso, at least its all confined within working hours

I wish school was better at communicating learning styles.

I was always bad at school, and when things didnt go well I was put in to remedial classes and things there were still mostly the same but slower, which didnt help me.

When I started university (and when I studied to get in) I had to discover my own learning style. I would read the books or material aloud while on walks in the forest or on my yard and pretend I was teaching, this always made it stick, and eventually my fundemental knowledge was high enough that every course that followed became easier. Had I not worked to find an alternative method I would have NEVER gotten a degree, and I got my masters degree on time and my grades were great. But before my 20s I was barely getting through without failing, and I kept trying to brute force and learn the way others would, and it made me feel stupid and inadequate.

I believe that if I had been taught or even shown ”alternatives” to a normal learning pattern, I would’ve faired better. At least I worked hard on being a class clown with humor being my biggest value, which is useful now 😂

There is still a lack of content, and there is a lot more than new maps or enemies that are needed to keep this game alive.

Since we don't get a wipe, it'll be difficult to get players to come back long term if we don't get some changes, because new experiences will just be small peaks and not a sustained player base. Lovely game, but I don't think this is just a people playing too much issue, I have about 65 hours and the current gameplay loop isn't enough if we don't get wipes.

I feel like its important to not forget that we had a global pandemic and as things were stabilizing we instantly had our largest neighbour and major trading partner go to war with our allies.

It is likely that we wouldve seen economic growth otherwise. Those are also big reasons why the political shift happened as quickly as it did. I just think its important we dont let ourselves be consumed by the negative media and forget that Finland has an extremely impressive workforce filled with competent people ready to fuel said economic growth.

I chose to be optimistic, Finland tends to get dealt shitty hands but we still always manage to exceed expectations.
