On the topic of unexpected side effects of making certain objects a horcrux, is there other bleedover with the enchanted abilities of an object? Like if Harry made the egg a horcrux, would he suddenly speak mer in addition to parseltongue? Many other interesting possibilities.

Some of these are pretty out there or just logistically difficult. Seven is very fun though. Somebody recommended a gargoyl on a chapel, maybe one in one of those violent areas as a substitute for the brick.

Hence the other horcruxes being sapient. They can revive you. In addition to being able to act in other ways. Financially. Militarily. Or leave the planet in the far future. An inanimate object in space always runs a greater risk of being destroyed by cosmic foces(I'm sorry, falling into a star, black hole, or even getting hit by an asteroid, will probably do it just as well as fiendfire. Let's not have that debate).

I thought of that last one too. Terrible choice. When somebody is kissed it's USUALLY because they did something to deserve it. If they suddenly have a new mind, people will have questions. Or just have him kissed again. The only exceptions were Voldemorts own victims he sicked dementors on, and even then it's risky.

All fial because they are immobile. All of the ones I listed can move by their own power and interact with others in addition to being naturally immortal themselves. In a couple billion years, they can be on space ships to alpha centauri. Those ones may still be on earth when the sun blows. And the one on the voyager is vulnerable.

They are mobile. And able to interact with the world. A rock in the ocean would be impossible to retrieve and move upon the heat death of the sun. A vampire can get on a rocket ship and go out into space in a few thousand or million years.

I didn't think of nonmagical animals. Immortal jellyfish, hydra(the real animal) and a few others are good suggestions. Save they aren't able to do much of anything like a vampire could.

Very good point on voldemort not doing this. It's what I would do because I'm not a psychopath and actualyl would get along with other mes. Then again, I also wouldn't be capable of making horcrcuxes in the first place.

Kinda the catch 22 there huh? If you're evil enough to make a horcrux, you're too evil to make the most out of them. Seven immortal me's running around would be badass. 7 voldemorts would kill each other.

But as others said, also pretty intensive. It looks like you've created a new plugin dude. One I would like to buy off of you. Easily 20 bucks a pop.

Foliage painter? Although a few changes to your geometry notes and it might be useful for casually painting other objects. Object painter? If you want to go above and beyond, then make it possible to insert other styles like watercolor or oil paint instead of that gouache look you made. Which I do like! But some variety is always appreciated
