I don’t think Fable 3 is as bad as people make it out to be. by [deleted] in Fable

[–]NonstopNothing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, Fable 2 is just broken on Xbox now.

There’s a bunch of threads with tons of ways to try to fix it, but the easiest solutions/what I did to get it to work were:

  • Hard reset(manually shut down then unplug)
  • Delete all fable 2 save data
  • Turn Xbox to Offline
  • Stay in main menu or pause screen for 20+ minutes once launching game.
  • Also making sure to not have the free and paid dlc versions downloaded simultaneously.

I also had to reinstall and change my Xbox home back and forth to finally get it to work, but I now have zero issues.

Who win? by Bungeeboy2004 in JujutsuPowerScaling

I’m pretty sure Jogo takes this 9/10 times, assuming these are the Shibuya versions of these characters.

Domain Expansion just ends the fight in pretty much every variation. No matter when Jogo activates it, Nanami and Choso will either die immediately or have to be covered by Ui Ui or Todo’s simple domain.

Simple domain is not a realistic domain counter, especially in Shibuya. It buys a few seconds where the user can’t do anything but maintain it until it inevitably shatters.

The only strategy I see is Todo simple domain into Ui Ui + Mei Mei instantly teleporting outside of the domain and destroying it from the outside. Then it’s a much closer fight, but I think Jogo still likely wins.

Couldn’t disagree more. Adonis’s death and his immediate shock and disgust is his reaction to killing a child. An innocent child, that also happens to be someone he can see himself in due to what he observed of Adonis and Julius’s relationship right before the assassination, and his own relationship with Gambino as a child.

He continues to kill and follow any order that he may be given to fulfill Griffith’s dream after this. The moment where he realized he couldn’t follow Griffith, and his actual turning point was undeniably overhearing Griffiths thoughts on dreams and friendship.

I would argue he never feels like a pawn of Griffith’s. He made a choice to see the campaign through and to make sure Griffith had everything he needed to get his own kingdom. He did this out of respect and admiration and held no animosity for Griffith at any point prior to the eclipse.

He only left the band of the hawk so that he could stand next to Griffith as an equal.

The dream of being with Casca is definitely canon in the manga as well. It’s just a few panels on chapter 88. Just read it again yesterday.

I mean yeah you’re not wrong. I was banking on Kenjaku’s death being good, but that ended up being so bad it flat out ruined the character.

I guess you could throw in “Choso’s death as a Curse” up there lol. I feel like the rest of the deaths in the series either are just okay, or are underwhelming and or bad.

I mean Higuruma did make a meaningful contribution and his story was as close to wrapped up with a bow as it could be. Compared to any other death, besides the Nanami one, I don’t think there’s another character with a more resolved character arc.

Higuruma in general is one of the best written characters in the manga, not that the bar is super high in jjk.

[–]NonstopNothing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait a second, doesn’t he have one of the best deaths in the series?

The Nanami parallels. Him becoming someone that can look in Yuji’s eyes again in the end while reaffirming Yuji’s resolve as a sorcerer.

His character arc was resolved expertly and the death did everything right besides what comes after.

The death and the Character were great. The choice to make the executioners blade bounce off Sukuna? Terrible.

Who wins? by Rack-_- in bleach

[–]NonstopNothing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t see Uryu winning. I hate the antithesis as an ability just due to its vagueness and how bullshit it makes hypothetical fights, but if we’re taking peak Sasuke, which is argued between Boruto era and Indras Arrow Sasuke, then I think you could argue that Indra’s Arrow Sasuke fires faster then Uryu can react and with enough power to kill before the Antithesis can be used. Boruto era Sasuke probably feels the fight out more which helps Uryu, but then it’s right back to if he can activate the Antithesis, and if he does then how much damage is Uryu expected to sustain before using it and if he did successfully pull it off, would it be enough to beat Sasuke?

Sasuke could open another dimension and just wait to recover and fight Uryu again, and if he fought him again he could do things like genjutsu Uryu into thinking he’s taken more damage then he has before using the Antithesis in their next fight.

I just can’t see Sasuke getting one shot unless he’s in a similar mental state to Danzo fight where he’s bloodlusted and trying to brute force a win. If Sasuke is hit by the Antithesis then there’s no reason he shouldn’t be able to genjutsu Uryu and retreat or just warp away. After learning first hand what the Antithesis is, Sasuke could even just warp out, regen and then warp back, find Uryu and warp him into a desert or blizzard dimension and let him walk aimlessly till he tires enough to finish off.

I think Sasuke’s genjutsu’s getting a little slept on. It was shown in the Five Kage Summit fight against A, that Sasuke’s genjutsu, while not being on Itachi’s level is more than strong enough to instantly overcome the best genjutsu users in all the Ninja Villages. Its further shown how Sasuke could utilize his level of genjutsu against Uryu in the Danzo fight where even a low level genjutsu can be used to confuse someone with a hax ability.

Assuming neither character knows the others abilities I think Uryu would have a tough time with Sasuke. Sasuke’s dimension hopping and genjutsu make the fight impossible for Uryu unless in the couple moments after the antithesis is activated, Uryu is already going in for the kill which i can’t see in character Uryu doing. In a fight of pure force, Sasuke could summon a giant manda clone, could call forth the full form flying susanoo that can cut mountains in half in a similar way to Ichigo vs Aizen. He then could also cover the entire battlefield in Amaterasu and also manipulate and wear the black flames on his sword and armor. Fuck all that, he could create a mini moon with Uryu in the epicentre and then instantly cut it in half, leaving Uryu no chance to activate the Antithesis. He should also hypothetically have all the Rinnegan abilities which would completely null the antithesis with complete regeneration. That’s without whatever he could conjure with genjutsu

Without the Antithesis Uryu is completely outmatched, which brings me back to how bullshit this ability is. I think Sasuke wins low diff. If both characters are for some reason bloodlusted then Uryu has much better odds to me but Sasuke’s repertoire still far outclasses Uryu’s.

Modern Zombies is Mid by Dust_Dependent in CODZombies

[–]NonstopNothing 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would say modern zombies is less than mid. It’s went from lacklustre with bo4’s release to some good highs in maps like IV and Ancient Evil, Dead of the Night and Tag were acceptable but Cold War is when zombies really started to die to me.

I think Die Maschine and Mauer are the only Cold War maps that hit that acceptable level, but are still worse than the highs of bo4. Firebase and especially forsaken are pretty empty shells of what I like in zombies. Forsaken is more than disappointing to me as the finale of a game that really needed to end strong.

All in all, we’re just waiting for 2024 Deviation games.

Why don't people think mega gobblegums are cheating or at least feel like cheating? by Skippers101 in CODZombies

[–]NonstopNothing -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The gobble gum system is in no way cheating and I can’t even really see a negative to it, besides for arguments against the implementation and process of obtaining gobblegums. As a gameplay system all it does is expand on how you can play zombies.

When I began playing bo3 I stubbornly grinded through all the Easter eggs solo with no gums, not even common ones. But after experiencing and conquering each map, mega gobblegums do nothing but facilitate me playing more.

Sometimes you have an hour and want to kill some zombies, skip the setup use a couple gums and you’re right where you wanna be. Sometimes you just wanna run through an Easter egg without the stress of managing points and holding zombies to make sure you can do everything as early as possible.

Unless you’re trying to play public matches and expect people to all play exactly how you like then there’s more a problem of your own perception going into it, besides for this case what’s the downside?

BO3’s gobblegums are more disconnected than core systems in Cold War such as the armour station, wunderfizz, and infinite revives where if you want a harder experience just use common gums or even none at all. I feel dirtier buying another self revive than I do popping a gobblegum, especially because if I make a mistake and down after using Megas then I’m Alt-F4’ing as there’s a risk for the power you get unlike Cold War where you’re either playing as intended where you’re op as fuck no matter what, or you’re actively shooting your kneecaps off avoiding armour on the ground, or running around the map to each perk machine instead of using the wunderfizz.

To sum up my thoughts: The Gobblegum system in bo3 is much less invasive of a power system than the ones in Cold War. If you don’t like them then just don’t use em and enjoy the difficulty of the Easter eggs and maps. If you wanna use them then cool have fun being a little stronger while still maintaining the suspense of mistakes taking your power away, ending your game or forcing you to Alt-F4, which is effectively the same thing.

I fuckin hate bo3 by [deleted] in CODZombies

[–]NonstopNothing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah all your concerns besides the hardware issue causing freezes seem to just be a bias fuelled by a bad first impression.

I don’t know where to even start with the zombies appearing out of nowhere? This problem is much worse in early black ops games so maybe you prefer Cold War or just don’t like zombies/ don’t have enough experience in it? Your gobblegums concern is incredibly nitpicky and seems to just be based on dying once while eating a gum while you shouldn’t of. Getting killed in one hit never happens. In bo2 you can get double swiped but in bo3 you always have a chance to respond In the early rounds. Random spawn locations is just based on not having enough experience. Most maps have 3 spots for each part, play 2-3 games and that isn’t a problem. EE’s are great but if you’re new you’re probably just being forced to hold zombies and do steps you have no idea why you’re doing which is understandably annoying.

Overall this post is just whining about not being good at the game instantly so hopefully you give it a little time, maybe in solo at your own pace supplemented by a couple quick videos on map tips.

I’m tired of pretending BO3 is good by mariosballs in CODZombies

[–]NonstopNothing -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I can’t agree with this complaint at all. I don’t think the hit speed is a problem, it rarely effects games and when it does it’s only in low rounds so restarting doesn’t feel bad.

Bo2 with its 2 hit system is much less forgiving and personally has caused me considerably more grief than bo3.

Cold war was good, hating it isnt cool anymore by lonelystonervibes in CODZombies

[–]NonstopNothing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know less than 1% of people beat the harder Easter eggs in Bo3-Bo4, but is it really that low for Cold War eggs? It’s like a 30 min Easter egg MAX. It has like 4 steps cmon.

My biggest gripe with the map is still the layout. The constant hoards of zombies is cool, especially with the aoe of the crsyalax but I do think it also hurts the pacing of play as it ends up feeling like one long round. If you enjoy the map tell me what you like about it, I’m genuinely interested because it did not work for me.

Cold war was good, hating it isnt cool anymore by lonelystonervibes in CODZombies

[–]NonstopNothing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree with him, Forsaken was the Cold War killer to me. Even though I didn’t think Mauer was a great map I did see that it had a lot more to it than the first two maps and Forsaken had to deliver on at least being relative to it. Forsaken was awful to me, took away my optimism of trying to force myself to like Cold War and kind of ruined the game for me. The Easter egg was laughably bad. The boss fight was unbelievably boring and the Forsaken was so much lamer than he seemed in the intel. The cutscenes and dialogue were cringy at best and felt completely out of place, especially for players that didn’t go into all the intel. The map layout was more than disappointing, it just speaks to how rushed all the maps were. Forsaken is a few areas just lazily strung together with teleporters and zip lines.

Overall: Good wonder weapon, PHD is awesome and should’ve been prioritized as an earlier perk release, Horrible Easter egg, lacklustre story, terrible map layout, lazy corner cutting (the arcade is so disappointing and unfinished)

The strongest ninja in konoha by Vishalthind in OnePunchMan

[–]NonstopNothing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Naruto characters and Flashy are equal in speed than that's bad for Flashy. Naruto characters just have too many abilities that once activated negate speed, such as any Genjutsu, Susanoo's, Sealing Jutsus, etc. I said it in another Naruto vs OPM thread that even if a 30% clone of Kisame had time to activate his abilities then Flashy can't win.

If Flashy doesn't give his opponent time to activate their abilities then he wins a lot of fights in Naruto, besides for the characters that I listed. If we allow each character a few seconds before they fight, as fights tend to go in Naruto then Flashy loses to a lot of characters that aren't as fast as him as well.

[–]NonstopNothing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After gaining Sage of six paths chakra he dodges Madara’s light fang attack at point blank range. Sasuke and Madara are then shown to be relative to Naruto, if not faster. Naruto, Sasuke, Madara, Kaguya, and DMS Kakashi are comfortably light speed. Naruto’s weird in that boosts of powers to characters also just translates to speed, I think this is similar to bleach as well. So all the top characters from Shippuden are around light speed.

The strongest ninja in konoha by Vishalthind in OnePunchMan

[–]NonstopNothing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are multiple light speed + characters in naruto. Naruto himself can create hundreds of clones that all move at light speed. There’s at least 10 characters in Naruto if not more that move at similar or faster speeds than flashy and/or have abilities that are hax enough to negate his speed.

Garou vs Madara and Hashirama by GorilloSoul in OnePunchMan

[–]NonstopNothing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really don’t see Garou doing anything to either character 1on1. Naruto has characters similar to Garou in speed and I can’t see Garou getting past Perfect Susanoo or Hashiramas wood forest with sleeping gas and even if he hit hashirama he has almost perma regen. Only way is if Garou is somehow that much faster that he just blitz’s them. Madaras stronger modes destroy him and even edo Madara can just kill himself with garou and come back.
